They’ll be looking at their expensive scouting and back office operation which keeps recommending to sign striker ‘X’ on £30-40k per week and pay £20m for him in the Championship.

I think I now prefer Shayne replacing Madine in the centre as Jerry looks more effective in that RF role similar to Salah. He never seems comfortable as the lone CF in a 3.

Beesley would be interesting if he can get fit and upto speed to give Gaz the rest when required

I honestly think he’s taking it more seriously now, I’d suggest he’s packed in drinking as much and is training harder, he does not stop running for 90 minutes now, he seems a different man.

When he had success at Swindon he had been playing wide right rather than through the middle. Again playing to his strengths.

Appy looks to play to the strength of the players he has rather than have a system that he tries to crowbar players in to like Critchley and the Ryan Lowe's of this world are wont to do.

This is a big difference, getting quality crosses in and crossing early. mind you Jerry Yates is also in a golden run.
