Should have put the covers on then had an umpire assess it after an hour.... 😏

It's already looking half decent, think tommorow will be when it really makes an impact.
 
Looking great already.

Couple of minor bits of feedback:
I’d lose the top x2 shadows to right of BFC badge - looks like rolls of fat.
The curve shadow on the arm looks peculiar. I’d redraw it like the original mock-up.

I think the creases will look less eye catching when the face and ball are painted and the mural is viewed from further away. Wouldn’t fancy being out doing that in this weather…hope the artist is keeping hydrated and applying factor 50!

I should have said it's intended to match that.

Should probably wait to see it today, tommorow etc as it progresses, as it aint finished. But I wouldn't be against making that bit look better.

Sorry, I am not on here all the time so I didnt see that. Anyway, I am glad you got all the money, it looks good so far from the photos I have seen of it. As I stated, JA was a great player who was a gentleman and well respected throughout not only in football circles and it was well deserved 👍

Difficult for the artist to stand back and look at areas he isn't happy with from a cherry picker atm. He will get the mass of the colour applied, sort his shading out and then stand back and pinpoint areas which need altering. I agree the lines are too harsh in those areas and need softening but his artistic eye will pick that up without guidance. I personally think he's a brave man to attempt the piece and an even braver man to attempt a portrait where teeth are on show, usually avoided by most portrait artists so good luck to him. 👍 🍊

That will probably happen when it's all completed. Unless
1. It's not very good
2. The artist does a runner and the muckers have to finish it off.


However, I'm sure it will be brilliant once fully completed 😉

Give the guy a chance to finish before being overly critical I’d say…it’s not painting by numbers😁..he’s gonna be altering amending as he goes i’m sure…personally think it’s looking good so far…must be difficult on such a massive scale….👍

You would redraw it to look like this an that, I have gable end not 200 meters from Armfield feel free to have a go. Give the lad a chance to finish the job . Constructive criticism is good but I for one feel yours is below par, club an fans come along way in couple of years so if that's all you have to moan about on this forum we are doing ok
