That is brilliant, well done to all involved
It looks more like him, than the actual photo Great that it's been lightened up to give better definitionView attachment 13186I was trying to find a side by side, but couldn’t see one, so I have uploaded one as I was keen to see what it looked like against the original. I must say it looks fantastic!!
Great job you did , it's superb and well befitting of the great man.Wow, an interesting thread, I’ve only just discovered it.
I was commissioned to fix Jimmy’s face and I’m pleased with the results. I’d love to fix the rest of the mural too to bring it up to the standard of the chosen design brief but the face was the focus of this patch up and the rework has helped to lift the rest of the mural so I imagine it’ll stop as it is.
I’m thankful for the commission and the supporters who made it happen and I’m humbled by the positive feedback I’ve received so far.
I’m normally found airbrushing vehicles and painting signs on buildings (see attached) so this was a slight sidestep from my usual line of work but I’d be very excited about painting more (so get crowdfunding)! Thank you again.
I saw the blanked out face of Jimmy last week and posted a picture of it on this thread. To see how you’ve finished it off to a remarkable likeness of Our Jim takes some skill and you deserve all the plaudits.Wow, an interesting thread, I’ve only just discovered it.
