Met Joe a couple of times bought his 53 programme and ticket - You couldn’t have met a more passionate Blackpool fan.
Sincere condolences to all his family and friends...

Totally shocked when I saw his Mum's tweet. RIP Joe, a great Seaside, a very witty and bright bloke, always interesting and never self pitying. The world is a lesser place without you. Condolences to the whole family, and to Stanley

Such sad news. Met Joe many times. Seasiders do not come anymore dedicated to the club and passionate as Joe was.

If somebody can rip that from DVD it would be awesome. That was my overriding memory of Joe and the celebration when the goal went in. RIP joe, you will be sorely missed.

Glad he’s back from the dead and at least he now knows what we all think of him!!! The second coming!!!

Some very sck bstards in the world - but in reality its fantastic news in some weird way!!!!
 
When I woke up, I was in complete shock but when he was fine I was relieved but I was angry as well because some sick person has took it way too far. There are some evil people about 😡
