It certainly looks like he's happy to burn his bridges, I can't see any way back into management after his quotes. Any club that thinks about appointing him would be subject to intense pressure to reconsider. Plus the fact he's crap.....
 
He still needs to offer up a few more batshit crazy tweets to overtake Matt Le Tissier. Obviously neither could prob ever catch David Icke.
 
Women's football is not a particularly high standard & doesn't interest me one bit. Just don't watch it simple! The mainly women/girls who watch or play it obviously enjoy it so fair do's to them. We seem to be getting all this type of stuff rammed down our throats in the name of an over zealous diversity campaign, it's certainly got it's place in todays society but is it really mainstream?

With all due respect, the Euro final had nearly 300 million views globally. With 17-20 million in the UK.

How is that not mainstream?

I’ve tried watching women’s football but can’t it’s pathetic I don’t even watch much of the men’s game anymore I only watch Blackpool that’s bad enough
 
He’s a proper prick. Shouldn’t be given the time of day for his past behaviour let alone what ever bullshit he spouts now. Regarding Women’s Footy, if you don’t like it don’t watch it??!!! Why slag it off? People do go and watch it and enjoy it, it probably has a bigger female demographic watching it but men will watch too, I seriously just don’t understand the furore to slag it off at any point. It’s a massively growing sport attendance wise. It can only be a positive for the men’s sides too as attendance on the whole are up and more women and girls are interested in the game.
 
I am still waiting for BBC Football to have an option to filter out women's football. There is a category just for Women's football but not for men so men are forced to read Women's Football headlines.

This is the kind of thing that frustrates me. Is it forced deliberately...

That will never happen and no one forces any of us to watch anything, bet most of those woman playing would of easily got into your Mechanics team

It isn't national league standard, because you can't hold them to that standard.

CJ plays at League One level and looks like he wouldn't last a second in Sunday league football. The point is just so ridiculous it's unreal. And about as stupid a point you could possibly make.

if you watched Sky last night Izzy Christiansen was far more intelligent and insightful that the two Redknapps, who just talk in cliches like a bloke down the pub would do.

i have actually and been to watch it first hand, technically they are very good, where they would struggle in the men's game is the pace of the game and obviously the strength element, but ability wise you wouldn't get anywhere near them

The biggest cliche is that gender gives some insight into the game. As in all walks of life, intelligence and articulacy aren't limited to those with experience.

It certainly makes a difference in the corporate world, but in football you either know what you are talking about our you don't. For every Paul Merson and Clinton Morrison there is a Karen Carney or Rachel Brown
 
I wouldn’t even say it’s national league standard the likes of Halifax would thrash that World Cup winning team it’s a fair few levels below that

Is that true ? - 70% of the UK watched the final ? I find that hard to believe ! I know 100% of our house didn't and I know very few people who did watch it.

As Sooty said, women who play it and people who watch it clearly enjoy it, so good luck to them. However, it is not the quality of men's football, and I take exception to it being the lead story on national sports bulletins on radio etc ahead of mens football and other sports.

I think all this is daft - ‘Woman’s football wouldn’t make it at National league level.’

Whether it would or not is somewhat irrelevant.

Take the argument to BFC, and say ‘Well they wouldn’t compete at Prem level so I am not watching’

The whole football pyramid is about trying to achieve the next level if you can, it’s no different with Woman’s football - they play people similar to themselves and see if they can compete.

Just like we do in league 1 - or should we give up because we cannot compete with the men in the Prem?

I have to be honest and say I don’t watch, but outside BFC and England I don’t watch much football anyway.

A bit like, I don’t watch NFL as it’s not for me.

Each to their own, let people just do what they want unless they are hurting someone else 👍
