Joey Barton

Surely we have learnt from the Appleton appointment? We need a manager that everyone can fully get behind. Whether that is someone we know and like or someone we don't really know. The last thing we need is someone like Barton or Appleton who many actively dislike from the start.

No hierarchy only Simon sadler. Numerous managers interviewed. Should just give it Dobbie and have done with it all. He knows the club Inside out. Knows the team. Knows who he’d want to release and keep etc
 
Not got a bad management CV. Wouldn’t be against it.

We are also never going to get an appointment the whole fanbase is going to be behind. Everyone has opinions

You said Blackpool fc is looking a joke, it isn't.

Nothing wrong with having a look at the candidates, just because there's a random post on avftt doesn't make it true.

Maybe the club had a process in place before Dobbie proved himself capable and are seeing it through?
 
I wouldn’t mind Joey Barton

He called the stains out . Works hard . Passionate etc experienced.

My only concern would be his off the field issues. We need stability .

However I’d be happyish with it . Prefer Dobs.

Tiny market indeed. You could stick a tenner on Barton and he'd become 1/20
Bookies do it for publicity, not to make money. Betting on things like Eurovision, it's an unforseeable outcome, so they have to give genuine odds, but when it's on a new manager, it's all down to inside info, so they can't be exposed to big losses knowing that somebody knows before they do.

Barton has loads, of baggage, looks, certain to end up in serious trouble at some time, and cannot imagine him dealing In a constructive way with a player low, on confidence.

No, it’s just silly money going on Bowyer. Honestly surprised more people aren’t betting on Dobbie at 12s. I think it’s 50/50 he gets the job, so 12s is insane odds. Even thinking of setting up a UK betting account and sticking a couple of hundred on.
