His strength is going forward, but we're playing an excellent Burnley side and he has Josh Bowler infront of him who offers very little defensive support.

A very average right back but he's young so like to think he has good potential. Today he has been battered though.
We've been more solid with Connelly and Connelly provides more of a goal threat. If Patino or Fiorini were fit Gabriel would be on the bench.

He's okay, provides good back up for Connelly. Forrest thought he wasn't a Championship RB.

Agree with alot of your posts but certainly not this one. Last season he demonstrated that he is a quality player at Championship level, and to write him off now when he has only just returned from injury, is in my view, knee jerk. Yes you have a right to your opinion as has everyone else on this board, but when you produce a controversial post as you have just done, expect a backlash.

Great attitude, great athlete, will make the odd error but he’s in my team every week. Hopefully with a bit of coaching he will be a fantastic player for us for the long term.

I really like JG. Fantastic attitude on and off the pitch. Always gives his all. Never hides when things don't go well for him. As we saw today, after a difficult H1, he had a fantastic H2 and got us back in the game. He would be in my first 11

He has proven himself over last season that he is easily good enough both defensively and in attack. In all fairness he took a while to get going today, was unlucky with the slip for their goal, but was growing into the game, excellent work to get down the line beat his man and get the cross in for our goal.
