Jordan Gabriel

I just hope Jordan doesn’t read it

Can we ban this ‚fan‘ from B Rd ? He clearly knows nowt about footie
I've yet to see you post anything that resembles coherent thought or speech so doubtful.

I would say at this point in time there's always the chance of a defensive weak moment that causes Gabriel to double-down on his attempts to contribute to the attack. Today their second goal was cancelled out by our second goal so it's all good in the end. Like QPR at home last season where the backing off for their goal was cancelled out by his run for the penalty equaliser.

I think he's very much at 'he is what he is' at this point in time. And due to shit squad planning he's the only senior right back we have on the books. So if Appleton can make anything out of his 4+1 contract and help settle him down then he'll do well. A good lad but there's a bit to work on there, and not the only one. So it's no surprise people will pick him out, I think. But full backs are important (and moreso in a 4-3-3) and the best ones you know you can just put in the team and forget about. So hopefully he can become that solid mainstay.

He Isa main stay, nicest bloke u might ever meet and is a wing back so forward thinking alwaysˋ I’ve read on here several Clubs would like to acquire him so maybe he‘s a little more complete than people give him credit for
He is like Grimmy, Eki, Bowler in my starting eleven even if 75% fit

Top player who will improve defensively

Cambers scouting report on a platter fortgeeilt

Ah I get that one. Yep hope so. Looks like another who started as an attacking player in his youth team and was moved to defence for his physicality. Better than the other kids his age.

Critchley having him as first sub on to go in front of Turton when it got to the business end of the promotion season made me think he'd made his mind up and he wouldn't be back. And Dujon Sterling coming in as the more defensive-minded last year. I think we need that option in there who is actually a right back but isn't Callum Connolly doing everything.

This is his time poolfc — without Dujon Sterling he‘s the best we have and personally I think he‘s good enough and balances the defence

4 points since last Sat‘s disaster & we‘re doing nicely under the radar like Mr Gabriel

Well factually he was at fault for Burnley's 2nd and 3rd goals and got an assist for our 2nd.
It was his first start for probably about 6 months so I think he needs to be cut a little slack.
Not factually at all. It was a garbage touch from Lavery. Not remotely Gabriel’s fault.

Hope so fella. But yep four points from two championship away trips where everything that could go wrong almost looked like it would is a great return.

Anyone can slip , I thought he hag a cracking game along with most of the 11.why oh why does it take 45 minutes to get the team sorted out?

I personally think JG is a brilliant player AND is most certainly a threat going forward as demonstrated yesterday with the assist.

JG took to social media last night posting "Disappointed start but the fight to come back was so important! Happy to get an assist. Fans amazing as always! Enjoy your weekend!"

He is a genuine and honest bloke who I'm sure will improve as the season continues. UTMP
