Possibly, it will be interesting to see what Forest do with him this season. In honesty I'd be more interested in Johnson than Grant.

And therein lies the problem at a lot of these clubs. Spending millions they don't have on relatively unknown players from abroad when they have exciting young prospects of their own. Gabriel and Johnson 2 perfect examples, maybe they have better in those positions but I believe they will both handle the Championship just fine and maybe they then could spend money on positions they do need more quality. Let's be honest, having a few players come through the ranks is always more satisfying.

I agree, having players come through the ranks also affects the fans in a good way. They always feel more connected to the team if they are cheering “our” players rather than imports.

I reckon Johnson is likely to break into the Forest team next season. 8d be less sure about Gabriel who, to me, was still coming to terms with L1 with us. Not quite ready to step up.

Less risk in playing wingers than wing backs, I agree. Gabriel is going to be a cracking player, just needs a little more experience on tbe defending side of things. I'd be delighted if we brought him back though, seems to have a great attitude.
