Kyle Joseph was a noticeable absentee from the matchday squad, with Critchley confirming the forward will be assessed over the coming days.Well I've searched all over for any comments from Critch about Joseph and can't find them anywhere!
It was part of his post match interview on Saturday. It was exactly as reported in this thread. He picked up an issue in training at the end of last week, it is being assessed over the next 24/48 hours.Well I've searched all over for any comments from Critch about Joseph and can't find them anywhere!
His post match interview might be a good place to start......Well I've searched all over for any comments from Critch about Joseph and can't find them anywhere!
Now you've simply added to the confusion we're all starting to feel! When you say 'hip', do you mean in the anatomical, bodily sense, or as a slang-type reference to something adjudged trendy or 'down with the kids'?But if they said it was a hip issue. then we would speculate on how bad a hip issue,
The club don’t help though do they? If they just said what the issue was it would end all the speculation.
Some people probably want to know more about BFC player's lives than they do their own next of kin!Fuck me, the entitlement
You understand that medical records are strictly private, unless the patient allows otherwise?
So they're not for the delectation of posters to AVFTT, then?Fuck me, the entitlement
You understand that medical records are strictly private, unless the patient allows otherwise?
Not so sure about 'patient' as the adjective of choice there ...After the Stewart & Bridcutt debacles I doubt we'd fall foul again. Just be patient with him.
'... BFC players' lives ...' Plural possessive n' all that. Some people probably want to know more about BFC player's lives than they do their own next of kin!
I was always taught not to start sentences with And.'... BFC players' lives ...' Plural possessive n' all that.
'... BFC player's lives ...' is singular possessive. And, the wrong selection.
Well that hardly sounds like his leg has fallen off and he'll be sat in the Kev Stewart Memorial seat for the foreseeable future!"Kyle unfortunately picked up an issue in training at the end of the week," he said.
"We'll have to keep our fingers crossed and assess him over the next 24-48 hours."
That was about 1967..I was always taught not to start sentences with And.
Standards have slipped since thenThat was about 1967..
Depends who's thereAre the 2 knocks the same or related?
bum tish indeed.Depends who's there

With a broken legaccording to critch on radio lancashire last night he might be playing
It was a hip replacement, medical science never ceases to amaze me.With a broken leg
Wasn't that Pennington .according to critch on radio lancashire last night he might be playing
No, hip.With a broken leg
no he mentioned Joseph also said about talking to Brighton about what stage weir was at before including himWasn't that Pennington .
I just had a hip replacement. I won't be able to run for at least 6 months, and then only gently. Been advised that any contact sports are really a no-no.It was a hip replacement, medical science never ceases to amaze me.
Dr.Depends who's there
And so was I... just not very well.I was always taught not to start sentences with And.
Sadly the commentator has misquoted here.no he mentioned Joseph also said about talking to Brighton about what stage weir was at before including him

mustve done another oneSadly the commentator has misquoted here.
Critch did mention Pennington and Weir, but regards Joseph the last thing he said was that they would assess him on Monday once swelling has gone down.
I heard the interview personally, unless he did another one?
Aye, not giving a timeline isn't so much an issue but like all fans, we immediately assume no news, means it's something serious. Hopefully the scan is clear and we can get to see the lad in action soon.Critch said in today's presser that Joseph has had a scan. He didn't expand on it.
Just our luck if he's pregnant.
In the Gazette it says he’s going to be out for a while. That could be anywhere between 6 weeks and 6months.Aye, not giving a timeline isn't so much an issue but like all fans, we immediately assume no news, means it's something serious. Except that a season ticket entitles you to a seat in the stand, not a seat on the Board.Of course we need to know ST holders put much needed cash into the club on a yearly basis so we have every right to ask about players and other issues.
A rather sad indictment of the British education system back in the day. And although there are certain shortcomings which still persist to this day, marked improvements have been made. And you 'can' start a sentence employing the word 'And' (beginning with an upper-case 'A'). Where its application is not allowed is in the commencement of a new paragraph ...I was always taught not to start sentences with And.
Agree.Anyone else find it weird how we would gamble on a player with a current injury but not on one with an injury from way back in his career?
Really think one of the reporters should ask the question about our medicals.
Yes he had an injury when we signed him but he played against Derby . What happened after that to make him unavailable we don't really know but itAnyone else find it weird how we would gamble on a player with a current injury but not on one with an injury from way back in his career?

If it was a broken hip, how did he play vs derby?there's one well respected poster on here who got dogs abuse when he first posted suggesting it was to do with a fractured/broken hip injury. The longer we hear nothing from the club as to the type of injury it is the more it seems he may well have been right. After all, we pretty much are told about every other players type of injury aren't we?
