Just can’t understand no comment from critch to the fans

Haven't been following this story since the resignation was announced, but has there been any talk of compensation from Villa to BFC?

If nothing has been said about compensation then the most obvious reason for NC's silence is probably that everyone's agreed nothing will be said until a figure has been agreed.
 
I would hazard a guess that his position at AV isn't as secure as his position was at Bloomfield Road, but, money talks, and who on here would not have done the same?
 
having slept on it I feel very excited if we got Liam rosinor as manager. I’m just worried he’s got a close working relationship with Rooney. Anyway if we get him I can see us doing very well next season . Never so proud to be a Seasider standing side by side together against the scum. So much to look forward too . Thank you Simon Ben and all the staff at the club you have made it a club to be proud of again. Up the mighty pool . Roll on next season.

NC didnt strike me as a mercenary. I think BM got it spot on. A role in the prem purely coaching top level players etc. It suited him.

Some people thrive on being and need to be the man at the top etc some dont.
 
He gave his all while employed by us and then decided it was in his best interests to accept an opportunity that he was offered.

I don't need Critch to tell me how close a decision it was and how many sleepless nights he had while mulling over the decision.

I'd imagine if that he had issued a statement along those lines with an add on about how BFC supporters were the best in the world, then his stock among among BFC supporters would have been further reduced.

Far bigger and better men have left us in the past, good luck to the next man in.

I'd agree with just about all of that Danny but I'd be very surprised if Critch is getting £600k per annum at Villa ?

I agree with most of that Marko.

Just on the subject of our playing style, I thought we were far from entertaining last season as you have suggested.

Please don't get me wrong, I'd much rather stay up - and comfortably so - by playing in the manner we did than get relegated playing like Brazil 1970 and like yourself, I'd say well done to Critchley from promotion and survival in the champ etc, etc - but that doesn't mean that we were not boring.

What I do find funny though is that while Critchley was still with us and I dared mention how boring our style of play had been during the season - I was referring to home matches - I was criticised for doing so.

Now it would appear that everybody has decided that Critchey was limited and that our style of play was boring etc, etc - I just find this very strange because we haven't played any matches in the time that so many have changed their opinion on our style of play.

Am I expected to believe that Critchley's move to Villa after the season had finished changed our playing style during last season ?
 
Forget Critchley now, there has been a lot of gnashing of teeth about his departure to fill six volumes of war and peace.

Let's await the announcement of our new boss and then back them to the hilt.

Two faced w@nkers might be a bit strong Phil but you yourself were ridiculed and abused just for suggesting that Critch might not be the Messiah.

I know you are big enough and ugly enough to take the abuse you received but many of those who were quick to tell you how negative you were are now happy to talk of Critch's limitations.
