Just give it dobbie

Hmm mmmmm They had 28 shots. Genuinely think we be making a big mistake, end of season fixtures are notoriously unpredictable. In the cold light of day and during a full season think it’s a massive risk and then our one chance to immediately bounce back is gone. If he gets it he’ll have my full support because that’s the kind of guy I am but it’s a worry

Every managerial appointment is a massive risk.
Give it Dobbie tonight so the rebuild can start now.

The challenge for Dobbie is the best players on the pitch today were loan players and we don’t have a chance in hell in signing any of them. If Anderson, Thorniley and Yates also go, then it will be a really tough job for Dobbie just to even make us a top half team.

I had my doubts but it’s a yes from me, not because of todays great win but the style and confidence he’s given back to the players. I’ve said all season because of the shit August window we are a squad of L1 players but the last 6 games have proven that Dobbie has the ability to get things right on the pitch and unite the club with the fans again, if it fails then it’s failed for the right reasons.👏👏👏

Patino is signing

Get Thorniley signed too

Not a chance, he will get signed. All the loan players will go back, and the vultures will pick off the best players under contract.
It was mostly one-way traffic today, we had the luck even the pass from Bowler that created the goal, was deflected.

It will be a massive rebuild needed and if I was Sadler I would get someone in with more experience, certainly someone that had
done that before, that is why he may be looking at Bowyer. But I would prefer someone new.

As for Thommo, the assistant has to be the manager's choice, not someone the club pushes on them.

I never mentioned Thommo, although he is a good shout to slot in-between Dobb's & Blinks. I think Wellen's is the other choice, Quitchley..... fuck off!! Bowyer, no thanks, Wild, not for me so one out of Dobb's or Richie and personally I'd give it Dobb's. We had experience with Grayson, MA and McSaurus and look where that lead us. If you think we were lucky today you're mad. We were away at Norwich and we played some lovely stuff and with a threadbare squad. It has been a million times better with Dobb's in charge and that was a good watch. One way traffic my arse!

They were in the prem last season, have tons of expensive players.

OK they've been pretty inconsistent this season and poor for their ambition, but are far above league 1 level.

We've a threadbare squad, no strikers, same midfield who get over run most games etc.

If it’s Dobbie fans and board need to remember:
Our best attacking players are unlikely to be here next season (loan and contracted)
Jordan Thornily may well not be here next season.
It’s his first job, if we’re not in the top 6 after 10 games then patience is required

Or this board pushes on them lol

Like we lost 100-0 to Posh last season, we should have gone up as champions this season!! 😂😂

28 shots and didn’t score, mainly due to our defensive organisation. 3 wins in 6 , 50% win rate. If an experienced manager applied with those stats, you would be full of enthusiasm. Everyone has to start somewhere, why not here?

If we do it’s a lack of ambition for me. Says were happy to be mid-table, which is where we’ll end up if he gets it.

Play-offs *minimum* next season. Anything else = fail.

Most their shots were crap efforts from miles out.

Why?

Half the fanbase don't want Critchley back, he's lost his sparkle and lost trust. Avoid, can't keep going back.

Wellens may be good, does he want to leave or would he rather have a go in league 1 with a team he's earned promotion with.... also each time he came back he got a load of shit off fans, obviously we can pay more and are more attractive than them, but again downstairs know our squad.

Wild looks good pressing wise but hasnt managed to play great football with Barrow, but budget is a lot to do with that. Never managed above league 2 I think and doesn't know our squad at all, like any new guy.

Dobbie knows the squad, club, fans etc and is best placed to hit the ground running for the rebuild.

Out of all the candidates Dobbie has some advantages.

With an experienced number 2 would be the way to go.

Not for me, he won't have those players next season. I would prefer someone with more experience, as it will be a big rebuild.
Two managers with a lot of experience took 23 games between them to get three wins. Dobbie's managed it in six games with all the squad limitations that the experienced two had. I'd rather we went for someone with ability than experience tbh.

Why not Blinks as no2
Sure Dobbie would chose him

Well I've said he's done well, the setup seems to work. But an experienced head involved as an assistant (usually called number 2) will be helpful.

If Blinks says on too then all good. But we probably need some experience in the coaching staff.

Critch got his mate from Liverpool Garrity who seemed only to talk to Critch during the match
I cannot remember who Appleton's no2 was so he must have been anonymous
Mccarthy got tuneful Terry

So really were any better than Blinks?

I've said previously we might not want change a good thing, but I still think we'd like some experience added to the coaching staff.
