I will be very disappointed if BFC let any of our best players leave this month. We need to consolidate our championship status this year and get all our best players in long 3-4 year contracts

Totally agree. I can't see saddler or critch allowing anyone who we don't own to leave.
Except the likes kf Nuttall and lubala
 
Was bound to happen, teams will be thinking they can poach from our squad on the cheap, low risk - high reward.

We've lost quite a few players to QPR over the years so I don't feel great about it, but I have confidence in Sadler, Mansford, etc and don't think we'll be selling unless we get offered silly money, which we won't.
 
Don’t think Huddersfield would appeal but having been from Luton and having played for Watford juniors and Palace the QPR one might have more legs.
 
In his new year message, SS refers to adding maybe one or two but it will be difficult. Unless stupid money is offered for our top players or they want to leave can’t see much happening other than off loading those not required from the fringes. The fact our rivals are sniffing around is a testament to the players and coaches 👍Blackpool FC is a VERY different club now.... the players seem to be loving it to a man👍🧡
 
Always wondered how much of this info that starts flying around as soon at the transfer window opens is down to mischief making agents.
 
Not surprised in the slightest. I’m sure there’ll be interest in Jerry, Shayne, Marv and maybe even Kenny too

We will still be relatively low payers so they can make offers of decent salaries that’ll turn heads but be within their budgets. Plus transfers are based partially on cost of buying out contract.
 
In a normal market I would let him go but I think it would be crazy to sell him now
He is a skilled player, capable of moments of magic but final ball, decision making and finishing are poor, a slight upgrade on Kai Kai.

Keep hold of him and look to sell and get better quality in this summer
 
If we sold 2 players this January our squad would be down to 16 plus injuries!! It just won't happen.

As Stanah said, if decent offers come in during the summer then they would have to be considered but not necessarily accepted. I would guess the players are happy at Blackpool, there is a real feel good atmosphere at the club and SS is from a different planet to the stains. Had they been in charge they would have bitten Forest's hands of for £100k and sold Keshi for £250k. We are a very different club now and I bet if you asked the players they would say they didn't want to go anywhere unless it was a PL club.

Bowler needs a new contract but other than that we need to be using this window to strengthen or squad not deplete it to rivals! I think it will take a long time for us to get the PTSD (Post Traumatic Stains Disorder) out of our minds, it went on for so long it took it's toll on us all and the club. But, they are gone, those days are gone, we have a club to be truly proud of now and it is only going to get better.

Not a sniff either of those clubs could offer what we would be willing to sell for. As others have said, it will be a difficult market. Nixon is suggesting Morecambe want somewhere between £500K-£1M for Stockton, maybe that would be worth exploring? He seems to have a similar build and style as Brereton-Diaz and is absolutely bang in form for a team near the bottom of L1.

He's the main attacking fulcrum at the moment, the majority of link play from back to front goes through him. We would be a much poorer team without him currently.
 
He’s one of four or five guaranteed starters so he’d certainly be a loss, seems like a great character to have around the place too.

Can’t see Huddersfield myself but QPR could be in with a decent shout geography wise, it’ll cost them though.
