No. No websites are ‘correct’ in the sense of actually having any access to any of this information.

Nobody has access to these contracts beyond the employee, the employer and any agents inbetween

If someone is reporting someone is earning £500k a week in Saudi it’s because someone somewhere is leaking that information… and of course the leak may or may not be accurate

Cant believe I’m having to say this but … don’t believe everything you read

He’s not interested in playing football or blackpool fc. I’m a self employed bricklayer for over 20 years my back fails me from time to time as I’ve got 2 slipped discs but I still carry on I tried getting out of the game and got a job at jcb spraying diggers and I met the likes of Kevin Stewart just there bone idle gits just turning up and stealing a wage. I suppose the people that defend Kevin Stewart are the same idle gits with attitude and probably the same that will moan when we’ve not sold so many season tickets but we’re happy to throw away half a million on a player that’s not played for a full season I hate the modern world. Rant over 😂

Yes , I'll never forget that Tony Green character. Let himself get injured pre season and missed the whole of the following season and
part of the next. And don't get me started on Alan Suddick , played 5 games at the start of the 74/5 season then didn't see him till the next season.

Those salary websites are just best guesses, the only people who will truly know will be the players and the club and the club has to keep that information confidential like any employer.

I like Kev Stewart as a player and would have him on a pay as you play if we think we can get some game time out of him but it looks like his career has been ruined by injuries and I do wonder if something is amiss between the ears. He's still training with us which suggests he still wants to be a footballer, I thought he might retire so fair play to him.

We already have some good options in his area of the pitch, so perhaps time for him to draw a line under this one.

Comical really you consider that Jerry was pictured / videoed out and about absolutely wankered and still managed 40+games a season year in year out.
You could see towards the end of last season that little niggle he had, he was playing through it for the cause.

In the words of Racey, some players will, some players won't.

Yes think it is the same injury that kept Matty Virtue out for a year, but some still say he is a Sicknote.
Having the determination to comeback should be what defines him, not the injury itself.

Bit like when you have a drip in a roof - you can try to fix it as often as you can but invariably you end up needing a new roof. Am with 20's on this one. Plus after over a year away, would he actually be any good? That ship has sailed for me.
 
Play him in behind closed doors for a game or two that would give the club a better idea of where he is, but again any contract will need to have big clauses about any period of prolonged injury. If he really is fully fit, then maybe, just maybe 🤔
 
He was worth the punt first time, he was just about worth extending last time. I don't think anyone could argue he's worth renewing this time given there are only 22 registered squad places up for grabs.

I've no time for the hatred or giving him abuse, but the pros for the club are no longer there, especially in a position we have good depth.

It's been winding me up. He's our player and has been injured. They don't know him but have chosen to ridicule him at every turn. The so called supporters need to give their heads a wobble. If the people that matter think his injury issues are behind him, they'd be silly not to offer him a deal if the terms were right.
 
Have a look back at the play off semis at Oxford and The final last time we escaped league one. Also several highlights from games that season.

Kev was a grafter and a game changer, much like Wintle was for us. Went about his business and brought much needed quality to our midfield.

The documentary on C4 about Rosie Jones clearly demonstrated just how disgracefully some people in this country behave on social media. Its difficult to fathom how people can be so nasty. She said the conclusion she's come to is that hurt people hurt people.
 
I'd be happy to see Stewart signed up if
a) the club judged he was fully recovered
b) the contract addressed the financial risks of further breakdown
c) there was space in the squad and he represented a better choice than the alternatives.

When he has played, he has often been the best player on the park for me.
