Kev Stewart

I find the Kev Stewart hate is all a bit childish really. It's not his fault he's been injured so often and I'm sure he's more p*ssed off about it than anyone on here so the digs and abuse I think is bang out of order. Personally I think he's a brilliant player, I'd definitely keep him on a suitable contract heavily weighted on appearances but if not I wish the guy all the best for the future.

It’s not hate, it’s just taking the piss out of a player who’s been doing just that to us for nearly two years.

Kev Stewart was a good player but Briddcutt’s got to be there with the worst to ever wear tangerine he was bloody awful, near enough every time he got the ball he lost it we’d of been relegated a lot sooner his injury was a blessing

Some of it is excessive, however the guy doesn't help himself when he's having a go at fans appearances on twitter then blocking half the fan base on there because they called him out on it.

Excellent player when fit, but I wouldn't want to sacrifice a squad place for him on the off chance he is fit for more than a few games a season.

Nope , don't agree with that. He was ok in the games he played and interestingly in the 4 games he was involved in we won 2 , drew 1 and lost 1.

I'd raise a question mark over his head. He's at an age where life after football is more than at the forefront and after such a long bad injury is he really going to be the player he was, or is he going to be a bit more worried about longer lasting injury? I think that would be on my mind.

I wouldn't touch him now, it's really not worth the risk.

It's quite pathetic really
 
He is a piss taker and I do hate him he’s fit enough to try and get a new contract somewhere and when he does he’ll be injured again if you look at his instagram he’s a regular in the gym along with keshi they are a pair of parasites
 
I think Stewart is a great player and if we could get only 10-15 games out of him, I’d still be happy with that, because I think he’d do enough in those games to merit inclusion in the squad…. He’s absolutely class imho.

That said, I do also think there are other players (rightly or wrongly) would have made different choices about their ‘fitness’ to play.

He gives the impression of someone who won’t turn out, unless he feels 100% perfect

Come on seriously think before you talk are you suggesting Kevin Stewart has been that badly injured for two years now that he can’t play football? There’s nowt wrong with him if he broke a toenail he’d be out for 3 months he’s a pansy

Any player who can only manage 127 appearances, including subs, in 10 years should be ashamed of drawing wages. If that’s not taking the piss I don’t know what is. You tell me any other job where you can be exceptionally well paid for 10 years and virtually no contribution. No I thought not.
