Defensive midfielder. Championship experience. Might be decent then.Been at hull before
Defensive midfielder scored 8 in 119 games so no.Does he score goals? That would be nice
I thought we had enough defensive midfielders? It is ones that can open up opposition defences with some decent forward passes we are missingDefensive midfielder. Championship experience. Might be decent then.
If you look a little bit further up the thread, I think you’ll find that I beat him to it .Played the majority of the games throughout his career in the Championship, so that is good.
However he has been unemployed since being released by Hull...... so he must be crap.
There you go, beat 62 to it.
Hmm - Critchball strikes again?Defensive midfielder scored 8 in 119 games so no.
I'll be honest, I don't get it either. Surely Dougall has that role in the team sewn up, in his absence we have Robson, Williams & even Virtue.Very surprised at this. In fact it’s bizarre.
How many Central midfielders does that make in the squad? 6? 7? Maybe even 8 if you consider Kai Kai to be playing there.
Just bizarre.
Yeh I completely agree.I'll be honest, I don't get it either. Surely Dougall has that role in the team sewn up, in his absence we have Robson, Williams & even Virtue.
Everyone on here who is familiar with my posts will know I try and give the club the benefit of the doubt and look to the positives whenever possible, but in all fairness, if he has been without a club since the end of last season, realistically, how good can he be?
How long is it gonna take him to get up to speed fitness and system wise?
I just don't get it.
I'm not criticising the signing just saying he isn't a goal scorer. He has championship pedigree and might be better than what we've got. If that is the case it is a good signing.Hmm - Critchball strikes again?
I doubt it. He is described as an energetic, defensive midfielder. I thought we were well served in central midfield. I would have hoped he was a flying winger or even a centre half to cover for limited numbers!Does he score goals? That would be nice
Maybe this player in the side will allow Kenny to concentrate on his creative game, which we all know he has !I'll be honest, I don't get it either. Surely Dougall has that role in the team sewn up, in his absence we have Robson, Williams & even Virtue.

It raises so many more questions than it provides answers.Yeh I completely agree.
I don’t want to write him off he could be really good for us. Who knows.
But like you say this is exacerbating an already misjudged squad.
Very odd.
He’s been on trial / training with Brentford, so I’d imagine he’s in decent condition.Released by Hull at the end of last season?
Probably match fit by Easter?
Maybe. I don't see him as being *that* creative player though. I could be wrong. We're certainly miles better with him and his ability to pick a pass and play long and short is way ahead of anyone else but I don't know if I can see him racking up 10 or 12 assists.Maybe this player in the side will allow Kenny to concentrate on his creative game, which we all know he has !
Seems we’ve overlooked the obvious and gone for randomTheres a creative midfielder player at Dundee..
12 games, 5 goals, 6 assists
Leader, dead ball specialist too
Is Dobbie still available too?
Dougall doesn't have a creative game. What he's been doing is what he is.Maybe this player in the side will allow Kenny to concentrate on his creative game, which we all know he has !
Going for all the gloryIf you look a little bit further up the thread, I think you’ll find that I beat him to it .
