Kit colour

So we need to play in tangerine...... but no one has a definitive answer to what is tangerine, just lots of different opinions on what isn't tangerine.

If you’d read the thread mate you’d see we do have a definitive answer as to what tangerine is. It’s been posted a number of times. The colour tangerine isn’t an opinion it’s a fact.

And yet people are still claiming tangerine and the kit's we have played in are not the same as the ones others, yourselves included, have posted.

Screen resolution and brightness, plus how people see it will differ from one person to another.

Keep arguing about a colour though 👍

Please tell me why the colour of our shirt isn’t important? We call ourselves the tangerines. We sing songs about the colour tangerine. But you’re saying it isn’t important if the colour we play in isn’t tangerine?
 
Anyone who has ever argued for our kit colour no longer being Tangerine has just been officially proven right by the club as they have just agreed the current kit colour in recent times isn't the right shade. From the minutes of the recent structured dialogue meeting:

I predict it will still be the wrong shade for some people.
 
The word you're looking for is hue.

All colours have various hues.

Tangerine will have various hues.

Therefore tangerine is whatever the colour of the kit is; it's a tangerine hue.

The reason I bumped the thread is because Sadler said at the structured dialogue meeting they've had a sit down with Puma about the colour of the kit not being right. Next season's should actually be Tangerine
 
See the Pantone swatches. Tangerine is definitely lighter than orange, as evidenced by Luton’s kit too who play in orange.

Hopefully get the right fruit colour this year. In recent seasons we have had tangerines, oranges, mandarins, clementines, satsumas and kumquats. It’s not bloody hard!
 
The kit colour we have now is spot of for our club..the lighter tangerine looks washed out and weak..I'm all for the 'tangerine' we are now seeing on kit and club website.
 
Let’s just be glad we haven’t got an owner who wants to turn our kit into a copy of a Middle Eastern state’s national kit. The Geordies don’t seem too bothered though as many have blindly fallen for the sportswashing. A few decent results and they have turned into versions of the Board Icon during the Oyston years 😉
 
No matter what we think about the colour surely it has to be different to teams that play in orange. I watched the Luton game on TV and the colours are so alike I was surprised they allowed them to play in that kit. Maybe looked different in real life, but the F28500 shade gets my vote🍊
 
Well, it needs to be more orange than it is at the moment...my wife asked why we now play in red when we were on TV.

Play in orange and pretend it's tangerine. Sorted.

Mr Dollar. Spot on meaning,' for me' imo, my thought, I like the current kit colour ..its spot on as a Blackpool kit shirt colour. It may not be 'literally' the colour tangerine you want in the paler area..but i don't see it as an issue myself as long as it looks ace.
