Kouassi

Apologies if already posted

Just read his omission yesterday was due to him picking up a hamstring injury in training. Out for a few weeks along with Lavery.

At least we have Joseph coming back and of course Bees. Them and Rhodes need to be wrapped up in the proverbial cotton wool during the week.

That's the problem - only takes a couple of injuries and then suspensions and we're back to being on a knife edge.
Just really hope some of the teams above us experience similar bad fortune.

Lavery hasn't played since Fleetwood which is almost 3 weeks ago. Given we have an FA Cup game next weekend, hopefully it will mean he should just miss a couple more league games. Kouassi is likely to be done for this year, which is a shame as he offers something none of the others do. All teams get injuries though, I think our squad depth is a real strength.

Lavery played at Bromley after fleetwood

Our squad has the stringiest hams in the footballing universe - facta - eight week lay off - mundo 🙄 😬

Pretty sure Lavery played and scored against Bromley 😉

I think I only really saw him play better than anyone else we've got in one game to the point when he was omitted from Saturday's team sheet I didn't even notice.

I think the point NewburyOne was making was that he a big physical unit , which none of the other forwards are , not that he was better than the other forwards.

Correct, his physical presence is something we lack in the other players. Hopefully he recovers soon as we will need our full squad over and around the Christmas period.

He was superb leading the line at home to Reading. Linked very well with Rhodes, mind you who doesn't play well with Rhodes
