Like to see if pool can sign another striker with the funds , we are looking a bit light up frontJust a rumour so let's wait and see, it would make total sense and then be a good deal, but going to miss Jerry whatever happens.
Agreed, there's a decent chance that Joseph in two years is better than Yates is now.If we get Kyle Joseph + 2.5m that’s seriously good business. I can understand those who don’t see why. But give it a couple of years and nobody will be arguing with that transfer. V surprised if it happens though, don’t understand why Swansea would let him go even if Yates is fantastic.
Barry..what would happen if two clubs agreed to swap two players who they both agreed were of equal talent….no money would change hands and no compo would arise…. Unless there is arbitration to decide what market value is of the players and then make a ruling…
Yes a value for Joseph will be agreed and 20% will go to Rotherham. It will have to be feasible, or Rotherham will appeal and may get it changed. It's actually not that relevant to our situation after all. I still think after listening to it, a value would have to be agreed as part of the transfer. I think Rotherham and Wigan would both have a reasonable claim to any sell on % owed. This might mean together Blackpool and Swansea agree that the fee for Joseph is only £100k for example, so we both owe less.
In other news, the Titanic has sunk
Neither of which have , as yet , officially happened .I’m more concerned about our lack of ability to replace Jerry than losing Jerry himself.
If they'd sold Brannagan last year they'd have that mil burning a hole in their pocket.Oxford fan on twitter just said that Swansea wanted around £1m for Joseph, he would have been a club record fee for them. That's why the deal had been taking time.
We didnt block Brannagan, he turned you down himself. If they'd sold Brannagan last year they'd have that mil burning a hole in their pocket.
Talking bollocks yetOxford have had a bid accepted for Joseph.
Should be his middle nameTalking bollocks yet
Sign him upWould certainly soften the blow getting Joseph. Looks to have bags of potential.
Watched a few of his goals earlier and he looks the real deal.
Sam Nombe is someone I hope we add also. Little piece on him today…
Blackpool should turn to Exeter City player to replace the departing Jerry Yates
Blackpool are set to lose striker Jerry Yates, so the club will be searching for a replacement and they should turn to Exeter City.footballleagueworld.co.uk
Definitely fits the profile of the kind of player we are looking for young with plenty of potential to improve.Would certainly soften the blow getting Joseph. Looks to have bags of potential.

Yeah cos you filled his duck pond with cashWe didnt block Brannagan, he turned you down himself.
You have to admit, he is fluent in it.Talking bollocks yet
Reported as being permanent but it wouldn't shock me if it turned out to be a loan.Loan or permanent?
It'll all probably stems from that one bit of info, probably how it works online.Got more reporters coming out now with this as well.
Haha he loves it mate.Yeah cos you filled his duck pond with cash
Bet there is a sell on fee as well.I think we all must agree this is a very good signing for us. Will be interesting to know
what the length of contract will be.
They were koi about it though.Yeah cos you filled his duck pond with cash
Talking bollocks yet
You lot still carping on about himWe didnt block Brannagan, he turned you down himself.
Yawn. We’ve still lost out on the deal overall if the figures are correct. Unless Joseph turns out to be a superstar.

I'd say it's happeningNixon says yes to Joseph signing for us.
Not sure what to think now
Agreed, however currently Yates is in the middle of signing for them, or not. So the club can’t say one thing for certain, unless it is certain!I’ve just posted on another thread surely they club need to issue a statement regarding Yates?
They were quick to dismiss the Critchley’s off again rumours so it would be nice to have confirmation one way or the other.

Oxford are a pain in the arse. They don’t amount to much. Just another boring team from the south.Oxford seem to be going for it.
Sadler may be making sure we don’t mess this up, he’s more about the baby steps. Sadly, that baby fell over last season and it’s got a limp now, when it toddles. If Oxford are in for him we are screwed as we can’t compete with them financially for some reason.
We seem to make a mistake, but then don’t have contingency plans in place. Prime example - NC departure.I’m more concerned about our lack of ability to replace Jerry than losing Jerry himself.

There needs to be a plan B AND C.
I'd still say very light - really hope Beesley comes good but just can't see it - have to hope the loans Gods are kind to us!Like to see if pool can sign another striker with the funds , we are looking a bit light up front
