A lot of Chelsea fans aren’t happy...
with Frank tonight....
Some are actually calling for his head....
on Talksport.....
Why don’t you get many all black goalkeepers ?

Just making an observation not many Black goal

Lampard will be under pressure if he doesnt do well this season.
I think he plays the right way & shows promise but top level football is tough in England.
As for the goalie, Hopefully he will do a better job than Kepa who was silly money.
I think its fair to say there hasnt been many top drawer black keepers.
Shaka Hislop was decent but cant think of many in the prem or in World football tbf.
There is no reason there shouldnt be more though in future?

edit: Ajax keeper is a decent shout & stiill quite young for a goalie.
 
Got a free ride last season because of the transfer embargo. Bullshit really because he still had a squad full of of quality players.

i stand corrected, there aren’t many all-black goalkeepers after all
 
What I don't get with cup games, unless you're playing in Europe an extra half dozen of games ain't going to wreck your league campaign. Never understood why the Premier teams unlikely to be relegated or finish top 4 don't pull out all the stops to win a trophy.
Understand why league one and two clubs don't take the Asda Vans whatever it is called now play the youth academy big teams Cup seriously. But to have clubs in the prem and other 3 divisions resting players for FA and League Cup games is bizarre. It does devalue the competition and to hear managers say they take it seriously and put out a team they think will win the game, but leave the majority of the best players out is a slap in the face to paying spectators. If you can have stupid rules for our stupid competition stipulating telling clubs what players can or can't play then it should be even stricter rules for governing bodies flagship competitions...
 
That was a decent Spurs line up despite the Managers pre match comments and Chelsea were ahead for all but the last few minutes.
I‘m certainly no fan of Chelsea ( horrible fans like WetSpam) or their owner but I actually think Lampard will become a top manager...he’s hardly over the hill age wise and is in real terms new to the job especially at the level he is managing at.
