The competition isint exactly setting the football world on fire and last nights draw has lots of all premiership ties. Keep the prem sides apart for a few rounds to give the lesser clubs some glamour ties so say Blackburn could have drawn Man U or Liverpool

i live 30 minutes away from ipswich ...but would have been hammered there anyway...as usual.

That's because the format is now to hold back so many Premier League teams until later rounds. It's a farce of a competition. Most of the lower league teams knock themselves out in the first round or two or at best play a low Prem team. There's virtually no chance of fans getting a draw to be excited about. The same teams end up playing the same teams from their respective levels due to the format. Needs scrapping entirely.
