I think it’s a case of covering our arses if Bowler goes to late to get anyone in in time.SCATTERGUN
14 prem appearances, hardly scattergun, although a fifth loan. Need permanent players.SCATTERGUN
You are a head wobbler…SCATTERGUN
Great signingSCATTERGUN
Is that his nickname ?SCATTERGUN
My mate who’s a Leeds fan has told me what a great signing he is !My mate who's a Leeds fan doesn't rate him. Says Bielsa liked him but only ever used him as a sub. Let's hope he's a revelation in tangerine.
Back to opinions my mate watches Leeds every match says hes a tricky fast winger and but for a serious injury at Blackburn last season would have been pushing for a regular starting place this season, represented England at many levelsMy mate who's a Leeds fan doesn't rate him. Says Bielsa liked him but only ever used him as a sub. Let's hope he's a revelation in tangerine.
He can play centre mid as well as wing I’d be tempted to throw him straight in today. Will get goals if he’s fit and ready after his injury. Rogers replacement rather than JB for sure
Totally agree. Not a huge fan of the loan system . Much prefer to have players we can call our own.14 prem appearances, hardly scattergun, although a fifth loan. Need permanent players.
We can't afford permanent players of Championship quality at the moment. We must use the loan market wisely.14 prem appearances, hardly scattergun, although a fifth loan. Need permanent players.
Why ?We can't afford permanent players of Championship quality at the moment. We must use the loan market wisely.
Suppose it will be telling on Wednesday if he gets a game and if he does where he plays and who he replaces.Absolutely not scattergun, this is an alternative to Morgan Rogers.
Not sure if this is a Bowler replacement either as we needed another winger even with Bowler.
Good signing and that fills up our loan allocation for the season, less than a week to add some permanents.
Just hope that if Bowler goes it'll be before Tuesday, because if we sell him on that day it'll be too difficult to make another purchase.
Yep agreed, the market is ridiculously inflated at the moment (it won't stay that way), would rather the club make sure the deals are the right ones than just signed players for the sake of it.We’ve got plenty of permanent signings in reality. Assuming that what is available on the market as free transfers or within our wage / budget just weren’t a step up to what we’ve already got?
So then you look at the loan options. If we’d wanted to sign Patino on a permanent, how much would Arsenal want? Would they accept our £1-1.5m budget range? Would Wolves take that for Theo or Liverpool for Williams (they sold Nico Williams for nearly £20m)
Scott Twine went for £5m I think to Burnley from Div 1. We just aren’t in that financial space as a club. So if what’s available on a free or within our kitty budget isn’t much better than a Kenny or a Jerry then don’t bother. Just manipulate the loan market this season.
I think that is quite normal.
Did your mate rate Crainey, apparently the worst Leeds player everMy mate who's a Leeds fan doesn't rate him. Says Bielsa liked him but only ever used him as a sub. Let's hope he's a revelation in tangerine.
King of Loans. He'll be happy with it as well as he's getting all the ones he couldn't have at Lincoln (Fiorini wouldn't have done a second season there).Since MA has come in we’ve made some cracking loan signings
He’s clearly very well thought of in the loan market
Yet 'Tonto' Mansford gets zero credit.Since MA has come in we’ve made some cracking loan signings

Apart from the injury, he sounds a lot like Josh early on, where he failed with the end product. Hopefully, MA can direct him.Leeds forum on Poveda:
He's a livewire with a weakness of not knowing what he's going to do once he gets to the end of his run. He has to learn to get his head up and pick a pass before he gets regular game time at this level.
He has had some bright games for us but ultimately his end product lacks and he doesnt get the minutes here to try and improve. His dribbling imo is probably the 2nd best at the club after Raphinha, when Poveda gets going he is really hard to stop (just a shame the end bit is erratic at best).
A loan rather than a sale suggests that the club think he may still have a future here. I'm not sure; lad clearly has talent, but he has never been able to force himself into the first team reckoning. Maybe the championship is his level?
Championship. I know that's the level he played last season. But given the long injury last season I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd gone to a lower league. Hope he's a success there. But like many of our 2019/20 youngsters, the club is progressing faster than they are.
I'm confused about his name, his nationality, his position and his appearance.Apart from the injury, he sounds a lot like Josh early on, where he failed with the end product. Hopefully, MA can direct him.
A bit weird, born in London, but Colombian.I'm confused about his name, his nationality, his position and his appearance.

Which Poveda will show up? He's the same height as Martin Bullock, 7cm shorter than Josh. 5ft 6. Flashback to Bullock I reckon.
But represents England.A bit weird, born in London, but Colombian.
