Yes the mods deleted it, Seems nobody wants to discuss problems on our streets. Sadly we don’t have anyone who wants to have a big boy discussion, it all too often gets ignored.Has the original thread gone Scara? No need for that from what I saw earlier?
Amazing really as I always thought this side of the board was for discussion other than football yet comments often get deleted or threads closed down without explanation.Yes the mods deleted it, Seems nobody wants to discuss problems on our streets. You think a link to someone advocating compulsory repatriation is acceptable?Amazing really as I always thought this side of the board was for discussion other than football yet comments often get deleted or threads closed down without explanation.
Yes I do - as horrible as it is.You think a link to someone advocating compulsory repatriation is acceptable?
Especially when those to be repatriated are born in this country?
Fair enough, but explain how you compulsorily repatriate people to the hospital down the road.Yes I do - as horrible as it is.
"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"
In my free, liberal and tolerant society I would protect a vulnerable electorate from your extremist views by denying you a public platform.Yes I do - as horrible as it is.

Well my 8 month old granddaughter was born in the U.K. to British parents and if anyone thinks they are repatriating her because she is mixed race they can fuck right off.Yes I do - as horrible as it is.

I think it’s terrible - I just believe in free speech.Fair enough, but explain how you compulsorily repatriate people to the hospital down the road.
And be prepared for the right of reply demolishing the xenophobic nonsense that is masquerading as freedom of speech.
So the right to free so each is an ‘Extreme view’?In my free, liberal and tolerant society I would protect a vulnerable electorate from your extremist views by denying you a public platform.
I agree totallyWell my 8 month old granddaughter was born in the U.K. to British parents and if anyone thinks they are repatriating her because she is mixed race they can fuck right off.
If I'd added a you wouldn't have taken the bait.So the right to free so each is an ‘Extreme view’?
WOW - even for you that’s off the wall.
I didn’t see/read it so that’s exactly what I’am on about if a thread gets removed a little explanation would help those that didn’t see/read it otherwise it just looks like a moderator empire waving the big stick. You think a link to someone advocating compulsory repatriation is acceptable?

It’s clear in the tweet from racist Jolene Bunting that appears again in post 1 on this thread.I didn’t see/read it so that’s exactly what I’am on about if a thread gets removed a little explanation would help those that didn’t see/read it otherwise it just looks like a moderator empire waving the big stick.
Is it?It’s clear in the tweet from racist Jolene Bunting that appears again in post 1 on this thread.
…. But you didn’tIf I'd added a you wouldn't have taken the bait.

Blood and Seasideone...it was a tease, that's all.That’s nonsensical
Ok mate…I get itBlood and Seasideone...it was a tease, that's all.
Although funnily enough people were so supportive of Trevor Sinclair’s freedom of expression that they supported him being sacked for exercising it.Blood and Seasideone...it was a tease, that's all.
Quite.Although funnily enough people were so supportive of Trevor Sinclair’s freedom of expression that they supported him being sacked for exercising it.
Definitely - freedom comes with consequences if you don’t show respect and behaveAlthough funnily enough people were so supportive of Trevor Sinclair’s freedom of expression that they supported him being sacked for exercising it.
And there's an important truth in that. Eventually, those who say 'send them back' don't have a 'where' to send them to. What they really mean is 'get them away from me and mine.' The creed of the insular and insecure. The racists who've commented on this thread need to get a DNA test sometime.
I found I'm a mixture of English ( Yorkshire,
Derbyshire, Cheshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire) as well as Scottish, French, Scandinavian, Portugese, German, Middle Eastern and a soupcon of Genghis Khan.
If I was "sent back", it would be in lots of little pieces.
You need to be sent to live with Boris for a month. The racists who've commented on this thread need to get a DNA test sometime.

A very good point One. With freedom of speech comes the responsibility not to insult. It's a difficult tightrope to walk - I'd be more than happy to insult Nazis - but if Sinclair has a right to say what he did then he also has the right to be understood, the right to be criticised and the responsibility to explain himself.Definitely - freedom comes with consequences if you don’t show respect and behave
Do you dislike me that much? You need to be sent to live with Boris for a month.
Was just thinking you could give us some feedback how the month went that all.Do you dislike me that much?

Ah right. So you’re not prepared “to defend to the death” TS’s freedom of expression as you previously claimed.Definitely - freedom comes with consequences if you don’t show respect and behave
You miss the point…Ah right. So you’re not prepared “to defend to the death” TS’s freedom of expression as you previously claimed.
100% bell endI found I'm a mixture of English ( Yorkshire,
Derbyshire, Cheshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire) as well as Scottish, French, Scandinavian, Portugese, German, Middle Eastern and a soupcon of Genghis Khan.
But if the consequences of exercising your right are so severe then it’s ridiculous to argue someone has free speech. You miss the point…
I am prepared to defend free speech - not the consequences.
Don't be so hard on yourself. You may have some redeemable qualities.100% bell end
I don’t think I am arguing the Saudis have it rightBut if the consequences of exercising your right are so severe then it’s ridiculous to argue someone has free speech.
The Saudi government could say “Of course you have free speech to post what you want on social media. But we also have the right to send you to prison for 45 years if we’re not happy with your posts”.
Not really free speech is it?
The whole point of rights is that they have corresponding duties associated with them. Your right to freedom of speech is only a realisable right if I have a duty to observe it, otherwise that freedom does not exist. But if the consequences of exercising your right are so severe then it’s ridiculous to argue someone has free speech.

Good oneDon't be so hard on yourself. You may have some redeemable qualities.
I do believe in free speech. I also believe that people have the right to challenge a person’s views and that isn’t an infringement of the first person’s rights. I also accept that unpopular or unconventional views may have consequences.I don’t think I am arguing the Saudis have it right
Mex - I believe in free speech, if you don’t that’s fine - but we will have to agree to disagree.
…or we could have you imprisoned for your views
I’d leave all responses up so we can see what people really thinkI do believe in free speech. I also believe that people have the right to challenge a person’s views and that isn’t an infringement of the first person’s rights. I also accept that unpopular or unconventional views may have consequences.
What I’m suggesting is that the consequences have to be proportionate otherwise it’s nonsensical to claim there is free speech.
So for instance if someone posts a hateful or racist post on here then I’m not especially exercised if the post is deleted. No matter how much the poster bleats about his free speech has been infringed.
If someone posts a controversial post and others call for them to be sacked; or make death threats or threats of violence; then I think the “consequences”’are going to be hugely disproportionate.
I’d never send anyone to knobberville it would be wrong under any circumstanceShould we assume that anyone fighting in the streets in the name of football should also be repatriated?
To where?Should we assume that anyone fighting in the streets in the name of football should also be repatriated?
I have used this quote many times on this board. but it seems free speech only applies as long as it does not upset anyone.Yes I do - as horrible as it is.

Indeed - but to some degree pushing boundaries moves us on, which people forget.I have used this quote many times on this board. but it seems free speech only applies as long as it does not upset anyone.
