Leicester

Police arrests have taken in many from outside the area apparently.
This looks to have considerable potential to spread to other towns and cities by the looks of it.

Just watched the interview on GBN with Nigel Fararge.
Calls it spot on for me if things aren’t sorted soon it could become another Belfast.
14 Police officers and a Police Dog have so far been injured.
The Indian authorities are blaming the Muslims for damaging Hindu property and the Muslim authorities are blaming the Hindus for exactly the same thing.
And it’s already spreading clashes in Smethwick last night some 50 miles away.

🙄 ‘Another Belfast’

if Farage said that then he’s a ** idiot

Learn some history, Jaffa, and stop watching GBN, as much as you love it

Not surprised it has spread elsewhere. I hope it fizzles out. Not surprised Farage and co are trying to fan the flames either.

BBC seemingly doing their best to ignore it, I wonder why.

Sure you can find that if you Google it, although it doesn't really tell you anything beyond "it happened", and you'll have to drill down into the Leicester local news to find anything about it today.
So it’s no longer in the national news. Just the local news.

But you still seem to think the BBC (alone amongst all the national outlets) should be reporting it.

To put it another way - the BBC are wilfully ignoring it. But every other national broadcaster has just “moved on”.

It’s almost as if you have an anti BBC agenda Lost.

It does appear to have fizzled out thankfully.

Which is presumably why GBN and Farage have decided to make a story of it now. Fanning the flames as you say.

Telegraph has a story on its main news page, fourth down at time of writing, even the Guardian has a story on "Hindu nationalism" on its UK news page.

It's the BBC that has an agenda, and they can promote it from a dominant position "thanks to the unique way in which they are funded".

But you said it was only being reported in the local news. So you’re wrong again.

You really are all over the place today Lost. I’d take a break if I were you. Tying yourself in knots here.

I saw it on the BBC website on Sunday morning under the heading “Leicester disorder” I thought it was because they got beat 6-2 before I opened it up
