Once went in a stag do in Kendal. Bought a family sized pork pie at oxenholme station on the way home to South west London cos you can't get decent pork pies anywhere in the south.

Have driven to Skipton a few times for a Stanforths butchers warm pork pie.
Bought 4 once for me and my girls and my niece and walked back to the car not noticing that the hot pie juice had melted a hole in the paper bag by which 3 of the pies had dropped out of on the walk back
One pie between 4 and a moody drive home.

Those homemade pies served as a slice were amazing! Just had a Hollands steak and pepper pie, was dog shit!

I went to Sydney once to get a pie from Harry's Cafe de Wheels. Definitely worth the trip. The best pies I've ever tasted. So good I decided to stay for two and a half weeks and turn it into a holiday. Does this count?

The owner told me, they sell 11,000 pies a week! Online sales included.

Blackpool to Hebden Bridge and they had just sold out. 
I went to Melton Mowbray on Wednesday....from Blackpool..
I had a pork with Stilton pie from Ye Olde Pork pie shoppe.
I thought I'd made a mistake when I smelled it but oh how wrong I was.
It was, without doubt THE best pork pie I have ever had.
They also do online mail order pies......

We were just short of Skipton when we heard the game was off and seriously considered continuing on to stock up on pies at the shop opposite the Bloomfield .But common sense got the better of us ! And we returned back to York.Before today, not very far. My new record is 150 miles; Wirral to ice station Bloomers round trip

Our paths may have crossed ? Spent many an hour rolling down the hill from Kings Cross..en route home ..usually about 03 / 04.00am. Sure I’ve been here December 2009/10 .. Near a where the sightseeing boats are ? Had a strange experience at Bondai walked out of the hotel with my expat mates for some reason we all had Blackpool tops on and bumped straight into another pair of ex pats wearing Blackpool tops ..
