Love Critch - however 2 main strikers on the bench ?

Total faith in Critch - it’s quite right that he’s experimenting with the squad he has.

Ok, so it didn’t come off today, but how else is the guy supposed to find the best or alternative combinations from his squad?

We’re always going to lose games, sometimes - FFS get over it!

Respect to all those who made the trip today to support the team, manager & owner. 👏👏👏

Relax - my point is BOTH our main strikers on the bench - of course I realise we are going to lose some - but we have not exactly been scoring loads recently , so why is the leading goal scorer on the bench

We lost cos linesmen can’t do their job properly. We didn’t score because of poor decision making from players on the pitch. Would Yates and Lavery done better if they started? Possibly. We’ll never know. Today a good learning experience for Critchley and the players

Here we go.
The fukcin doom and gloomers who know fcuk all about football, let alone management.
Critch and his team have done a fantastic job so far and I just wonder how many people on this forum would have predicted that we would have been where we are at this point of the season.
How does anyone know that the reason he picked his staring XI was to cover for someone who was carrying a slight injury etc?
We don’t, simple as that.
We matched Birmingham today and we have matched the majority of teams we have played thus far.
We are confident and composed with the ball and are good to watch.
Unfortunately the usual suspects come on here and start ranting about the wrong starting XI etc, etc, and always AFTER the event.
If we win then he is the best manager since sliced bread but God forbid if we lose.
Get off his case and leave Critch to do his job and try backing him for a change.

Not so, obviously you're being selective and ignored other comments. Have you ever heard Critchley admit to making a mistake in selection or substitutions. The honest answer is No.
Au contraire, tis you who is sellective as you only appear when we have lost a game, like a stoat chasing a rabbit about some inane side issue which you deem to be importantant enough to beat people around the head with. Never mind 62 your chance is bound to come again.

As fans we're allowed to praise and criticise as the case may be.

I have commented on every game win, lose or draw. Stupid boy!

Wow - another person that needs to chill - lol I love critch and he has done an immense job - just my opinion - after all it is a forum

We did enough to win today, Critchley cannot put the ball in the net from the dugout. Very comfortable throughout, but we do need more goals though. We are competing in this division and that is a good platform. Trust Critchley, sooner or later we will batter someone in this league.
No Critchley can't put the ball in the net but neither can the players he selected. Criminal benching Yates and Lavery. They're not the greatest but more likely to score than duffers like Dale.

For the first time this season I think Critch got it wrong with team selection, tactics and timing of subs. Should have put either Yates or Lavery on at half time.
Have seen the still from their goal and i still believe the scorer was offside when he put the ball in the net, even from 100 yards away.

How is Dale a duffer? And if you think Jerry is a League 2 player, why do you want him starting?

Breathe before you reply please.

Our problem is scoring goals, which is strange when you consider where Critch came from. I think we all expected the Klopp, Liverpool way of high press, with a pacy front three.

if that’s the case, you’d expect him to play three from Jerry, Keshi, Shayne and C. J, not a target man like Madine. I don’t see Owen Dale there yet And although Bowler can terrify defences, he doesn’t seem to know wher the goal is.

What’s the situation with Keogh, Carey, Maxwell, Stewa and Ward? When they are back we’ll be a lot stronger.

November was poor, let’s hope we have a good December, so we’re up there around the playoffs in January, when we can strengthen again.

Just out of interest what did Lavery and Yates do when they came on?

Lavery came on with 75 minutes gone and Jerry on 86’

15 and 4 minutes just wasn’t enough time to get into the game

Critchley never makes subs before 60 mins but either Jerry or Lavery could have come on at half time or on 60’ and changed the game.

Critchley doesn’t really role the dice 😕

We've scored just twice in our last 5 games and that sort of form will mean we won't be winning many games so this needs addressing pretty quickly, for me Critch is a young manager and young managers do make mistakes and tinkering around with the team constantly is a mistake, we've been solid defensively and it's no coincidence that his selections there have been consistent, he needs to apply the same principal to other areas of the pitch that he is doing at the back and I think the team will gel better and we will score more goals. I doubt many of us would have guessed the team he put out yesterday, people have commented that they felt he left some of our better attacking options on the bench yesterday and I must admit I have to agree with them, so when we fail to score they are entitled to question his team selection.

Lets remember this is a message board where people can air their opinions and thoughts on the game, some posters are jumping down other people's throats because they don't agree with something the manager does is piss poor, these people aren't trying to say they are more knowledgeable than the manager or better qualified which clearly they are not, they are just giving their POV so FFS lay off with criticising them.
