What's homophobic about saying that he was openly bisexual and had numerous relationships with young men?

My favourite William fact:
When he married his cousin......Her family were so worried about these stories of Williams 'friendship' with men
That on her wedding night.....her whole family attended the bedding ceremony 😍 ...and they waited in the room until William did the dirty 😳
It was done so they could say he 🍆 Mary at least once......

Those kids weren't even alive when the troubles were on, their parents were only kids when the good Friday agreement was signed.
99% have never even read a book, or tried to understand who and what William of Orange stood for or even did.

It's the blind acceptance of history, from figures like William of Orange....if I'm a protestant. I will support Rangers FC and I will stick the union jack on everything I own......because of some guy in the 17th Century...really!!!

If these were Muslim lads doing the same in Blackburn because of the the black hole of Calcutta in 1756 (60 years after William).....I bet there would be a different response from those agreeing with the rioters in NI...

And as for Dumbfriese....What would you like as proof, a video? a few paparazzi snaps, a Rembrandt of Billy with his pants down?

Does he even know where NI is ? Im Sure sleepy would welcome some advice from Boris on how to stop the systematic gun epidemic and the current Border issues he has, or should I say KH has.

Especially after Trump did such a good job with the Chinese disease and gun crime. Stop gun crime by crushing windpipes with knees. Saves on bullets.

This Thread was about Riots in Ulster and you have turned it into King billy being Gay 🤣 , How Can you prove he was Gay and he was around 500+ years ago? You must be looking on Gay threads or something as i dont know where you seen that , Each to there own i Guess

You do know there are lots of history books that all mention Williams relationships with men.....
There's even a wiki page with links to these books by people like David Starkey (the historian) detailing evidence of Billy's 'affairs' over the years .

Obviously, being 350 years ago.....and as he was king, he wanted to be viewed as a "Mans, Man" so he killed off anyone who said he was a pederast or spilled the beans on his attempt to bugger the courtiers....

And as the religion he fought for and followed, didn't look to kindly on grown men playing 'hide the sausage' with young lads......he tried to keep it all quiet by killing those he rodgered....

We’re actually in agreement that Westminster caused this problem in the first place. My point is that Westminster now need to sort the problem but, since the rioting began, they seem to have done feck all about it

someone who did three tours of n ireland in
the 70 s this was only a matter of time , not if when , the 11 year old who was throwing petrol bombs at me are now the 50 plus dads and grandads telling there kids to do the same .

He was the Blackpool soldier who was ambushed* and killed by the IRA. Buried in Carleton and largely forgotten by the town even though it was the 40th anniversary recently.

*think there were a number of them at the time
 
As someone who was at a boarding school in the 70s and 80s with many army kids, some of whom lost fathers murdered in Northern Ireland, I must admit I find some posts on this thread rather distasteful but of course we do supposedly live in an era of free speech. I do hope the same posters offer the same courtesy on other threads they may not agree with.
It's not nice when you are at school and you find out one of your mates dad's has been blown up or shot
 
Doesn’t bother me as I don’t live there. Nor does this taking the knee crap because that is America. I am English and not a racist or bigot.
 
Kevin is buried next to my grandad and I had to organise a new headstone for him a few years ago, given the old one was broken and no one could be contacted.

It's so sad how local heroes can be forgotten.
