Lyons is not a Critch favourite that’s obvious. Dale had a serious personal situation and was straight back in the team. Whilst reactions to situations like that differ, it’s hard not to believe that he wouldn’t have picked him, had he really fancied him.

I think Lyons has lost his way due to personal circumstances but mainly due to Critchball. Bring back an orthodox right back and he’d be first choice.
