Macedonia v England

It'll be interesting to see how Lewis, TTA and Watkins get on. All very good players, so a chance to get 1 foot on the plane next summer.

Can I just ask you all a question, which do you prefer
1- all this keep ball passing back then try and find that one pass which might open up the defence Or
2- all out attacking football but the chance you might not score but giving it a good go.

2 all day

Is it just me that Grealish irritates? He's sooo predictable. Always cuts back onto his right foot before playing the ball in from the left and always falling over when challenged.
He tends to always take an extra touch, something a few of ours do. When a teams sets up like North Macedonia are doing tonight it makes for a turgid watch. Foden is the only one showing much intelligence so far.

Watkins is a big step down from Kane. We’ve got so many attacking midfielders to choose from who are cracking players, however there really isn’t another Kane.

Maguire is so out of form it’s actually cruel playing him.

You just know these days when VAR gets involved it’s going to be a farce.

Just pathetic.

That said once again we are playing shite against weak opposition.
This whole going to the screen bollocks just piles the pressure on the ref to give the pen.

It's probably about 5 percent of the time then the ref goes to the screen and chooses to back their initial decision. In a way you can't blame them but it's complete bollocks with these soft decisions.

England just need to play better. We've been rubbish so far and they have been seriously organised.
