Madine

Lucky to stay on the pitch? From what I saw he motioned his head towards the City player giving him the chance to go down like a sack of spuds, seen refs take the bait for that kind of gamesmanship

Nar he squared up and the other guy put his hands in Madine face. Number 8 for them was decent player but a diving **.

Yes I agree, not a red, but also agree some refs fall for that kind of nonsense. I think Williams was being a bit of a pr1ck though, he started the agro then tried to get another player sent off. Poor form.

Wow overall he was as usual poor today ,wins seem to cause delusion with some of our fans it's always been the same .Some ok touches more poor ones won a couple of headers lost more and got in several great positions that should have led to goals that came to nothing through his poor play

I'd normally agree, I really don't rate Madine, he doesn't run, always plays a simple ball usually backwards, slows down play on the ball, doesn't press and doesn't win aerial battles.

However today he was absolutely class. That header was like watching a salmon leaping out of water.

Definitely not a goal machine.

Great player and when we start 4-4-2 he has to play.
It was blowing a barsteward yesterday you only had to see how the ball swerved around in the air to see that it was essential he started with keogh or it could have been another Luton.

The header for the goal was amazing in the conditions, he had to arch his neck to get that amount of power on it. He had a great game yesterday and he is an absolute nightmare for defenders to play against, he links up brilliantly with Yates too, who also had a great game. Lavery is the player to play with one up front though. I hope Beesley's cameo is a sign of things to come because he looked really tasty.

Gary was class yesterday, holding up the ball and battling his arse off together with a great goal, some games don’t suit him like when the opposition have giant centre half’s for instance .But I’m very happy to have him in our squad and so will Critch be
