Madine's red card....

Definite red...lead with his arm and pretty sure he meant it...let the manager, the players, the fans and the club down...that should be him restricted to a bit part role from now...he would be much better coming on with 10 mins to go if we are winning and using all his defensive skills and shithousery
He’d be much better finding another job based on most the thuggery I have seen him dish out

I think itshis lastmatch for us

Red all day long he gave the ref no option even Madine knew he was off the moment the ref blew up.

Had that been a Huddersfield player we would have all be screaming for a red card and rightly so.

Cost us 2 points tonight did Madine as really thought we would have gone on to Win had we kept 11 players on the pitch we were a different team with Lyons, Rodgers, Bowler coming on.

Liability these days is Madine needs ditching in the summer.

Madine had taken a few himself tonight before he decided to dish one out himself. It was a red but the referee was poor not picking up on Huddersfield's equally appalling elbows dished out on a few of our lads.

I had a pretty good view of it real time and I thought it was a nailed on red.
The highlights less so.
He started the game quite well running hard and closing down but clearly the red mist was on him.
He had his moaning head on all match (45mins in his case) and was continually pecking at the ref, going to the floor and asking for free kicks.
I think the red card was just his way of getting noticed.
I was truly disappointed with his stupidity and wearing the Captains armband as well.
Rumour has it he wants to leave this summer regardless and I agree that it's time BFC and Gary Goals parted company.
I'll try and remember the good times, the wonderfully naughty shithousery, the occasional goals and the very funny interviews with Hubby and Keogh.

Having seen the replay, agree with most others that it wasnt a red.

The Huddersfield player acting like he'd been shot by a sniper, and their players surrounding the referee into submission, got him sent off.

Still shouldn't have raised his arm though.
The first players to try and call the medical team on to treat the Huddersfield player were actually Blackpool players…… work that one out 🙄

When a player gets gets a red card and doesn’t even appeal to the ref I think that tells it’s own story.
Those who don’t think it was a red card offence need to read up on the rules.
If he gets a 3 or 4 match ban then I don’t care. We are better off without him as was proved last night.
He totally let the team down and is more interested in making sure the right leg of his shorts is pulled up tight.
Have mentioned a few times of late that I have gone off Madine and he is probably suited to Division 1 or 2.
I do wonder why he had the captains armband though.

He looked over his shoulder to check that the guy was where he expected and then fore-armed him in the face.
It's red all day, it's more red than Red Ken Livingstone at a Workers Revolutionary Party meeting.

MM has a big problem now with the way he wants us to play - we have no target man up front. He will have to play with the ball on the grass and start with our best players.
We knew we desperately needed a better CF than Gaz before the window shut and the board didn't recruit. This, together with recruiting crocks, is another error by them, which makes championship survival an unlikely prospect.

Yer having a laugh ...wasnt a red!

His whole game is mixing it up and hes given the defender a full forearm to the face.....
Nah, I think that would have resulted in a nasty injury, more of a slap I thought.
Still stupid though. If Madine his thinks he's hard and apparently has (history) with Lees it's a pity he didn't play against Charlton and Hunter .

Will be at least 4 games as it's his 2nd for violent conduct this season. Was lucky not to get one at Cardiff too. He's a liability.

Your post got me thinking?
Where would we be if we had signed Colby Bishop ?

Gaz went down twice last night like he'd been punched in the face by a heavyweight champion, when no action was taken he got up as nothing had just happened shouting his mouth off.
I bet the ref couldn't wait to get rid.

Talk me through exactly the same arm led challenge on Husband that the referee decided was a play on. Inconsistent at best.

Madine caught him with his hand, not an elbow or arm.

I thought yellow, although they are sometimes given as red.

Wasn’t as bad as I thought live, didn’t throw an elbow but he did lead with his arm, which gave the Huddersfield players chance to put on their production of “Murder on a Tuesday”, and giving a fairly garbage ref chance to play his staring role. More beckham vs Argentina than Zidane vs Italy but it cost us.

Still, while I’m frustrated with Madine, I firmly believe he will have a role to play and I hope he comes back from suspension hell bent on making amends and helping the rest of the lads put on our production of “THE GREAT ESCAPE!” 😁

UTMP!

Those who thought it wasn't a deliberate elbow are blind....Madine not only let us the fans, the team, and himself down....should never wear another tangerine shirt again....get rid !!!!

From where I was sat in the South it looked like he caught him in the face with his hand and not his elbow.Anyway I'm seeing it as a blessing in disguise because we had to chase the game in second half allowing Rogers and Bowler to show McCarthy what they can do and he will have to come up with something different now for Saturday with regards to our forward line

I completely agree with the arm led challenge on Husband it was right in front of me in the west stand that linesman wouldn’t have seen Halley’s comet from a thousand feet.
That said I still think Madine got what he deserved it was a challenge with intent the fact he didn’t contest the decision tells you all you need to know he knew he was off I mean it’s not like the first time is it?
Time to get rid he’s become a liability these days.

Unless you know what's going on in his head you cannot possibly say it was deliberate.

I wasn't close enough to make a judgement in real time, I thought it was a bit soft on the highlights but my pals who were watching on TTV said you saw him look behind on their highlights and could see the intent. Incredibly stupid and not the behaviour of a captain.

Has 2 convictions, and while you can take the boy out of the hood, you can't take the hood out of the boy.

He's a thug, and probably always will be. At the moment he's our thug, but it wouldn't bother me if he never played for us again.

He cost us 2 points last night and nearly 3.

Unforgiveable.

For all it was a red, I don't think it cost us any more points.

I don't believe we would have won that game if he stayed on.

We may have done if he had been substituted and we still had 11...hes a liability and Im amazed how many people on here think he is a quality player...he really isnt any more and the sooner we get shot the better...a liability

Certainly went to elbow him how much connection there was I’m not sure, but was deliberate attempt so Red card all day long. We need to get the Bowlers Pvedas and Rodger’s on the pitch so his 3 ? Game ban will be a blessing at least one space has opened.

He was up for the fight a little Too much and lost his head. Had run his bollocks off beforehand.

Is it fuck his last match for us. Who we going to bring on when Lavery and Jerry don't get a sniff? Jake Daniels?

He actually has 3 convictions. 2 were sentenced at the same time.
