For me, Carey first half was outstanding (I have been a critic). Looking to receive the ball, looking forward and not backwards and was comfortable on the ball.
Some VERY good performances today.
The team looked well balanced and looked to move the ball forward a lot quicker.
Dougall was superb and my MOM today.
More of the same please Mr.C.

It's strange how people see things differently. The lads behind me were slagging Carey off for most of the first half for "always going backwards"! There wasn't a bad performance from anyone today, IMO, and long may that continue!
 
Had to miss the game today because of work commitment but listened to second half commentary on Radio Lancashire on way home and sounded like Dougall was well in control of this match and when I got home Gary Rowett was summarising on Sky on our game and couldn’t stop praising KD. He’s in good form this season, bossing it at this level

Carey has been non existent in a lot of games, but today he was a totally different player. As I said, I’ve slated him on many occasions, so I’m more than happy to say well played Carey.
 
Anyone see the quizzical look on Critchley’s face when Dembele was announced as MoM? Got the feeling he probably thought someone else had lost out.
 
Dougall was MOM for me. He’s a very good player at this level.

Carey had a better have today ( I have criticised him most of this season) .

Rhodes pass to Dembele for the penalty was class.

Liked the Joseph cameo and he took his goal exceptionally well.

Beesley was busy and great to see him get two goals.
 
If Kenny can add consistency to his game, he'll walk back into the Aussie team.
It could have been any 1 of the 10 outfield players today. Well done to each of them & well done to Grimmy for his save in the opening minutes.
Hubby is my player of the season at this time. I hope he signs a new contract very soon.

Add consistency? I think he’s been consistently good all season! (Lincoln excepted).

He did seem a bit out of sorts today for me,maybe because it was against his previous club

In that order for me.

Don’t care what people say about the Shrews being poor ( and they were) - I’ve seen us drop to that level against other poor teams before.

But not today - that was a great performance and well deserved result.
