Man United are a shambles aren’t they

Protests before the game, more managers than McDonalds and now even with a Ronaldo hat-trick they can only just squeeze past practically relegated Norwich!

It will only get worse for them.

They are way behind City and Liverpool at least 5 years.
They won’t be competing for the title any time soon.

Blood, honestly explain why the fans are protesting as I don’t get it?

I know they are underperforming but I think the owners have spent a lot of money on managers and galacticos players. Their budget must be massive compared to Liverpool or even Spurs?

What’s the beef?

Everyone who was a glory hunter between 1995 and 2015 ended up a Man Utd fan. Must be so tough for them now the glory hunting has been displaced.

No honestly I’m just not sure what the protest is about? Glaziers were shady in the way they bought the club but now a couple of decades on it’s how everyone does it.

All i see is owners that have spent big are now redeveloping the stadium but have had managers that should’ve done better with their resources.

That’s sport, not bad ownership. Mike Ashley is bad ownership. Owen Scarecrow is exceptionally bad but not these guys?

Actually a decent day for them Spurs and Arsenal both losing still in with a sniff of 4th place. Don’t deserve it but they’ve always been jammy. Hopefully they’ll beat Liverpool Tuesday as the thought of them winning the quadruple would be unbearable.

The Ferguson years was the blip in the manure story..now there back in there natural place…😎…there a mid table club generally 🤣

Absolutely fantastic club with a rich and wonderful history, just like Liverpool. I’ve nothing but admiration for these great clubs and don’t get the jealousy and bitterness tbh.

Football is cyclical and I’m sure at sone point, they’ll be back challenging at the highest level… Stuff that most football suppprters can only dream about.

I get the impression that the managers don't get much of a say in recruitment, that decisions are being made not always based on footballing reasons, and those that are making the decisions aren't doing a very good job of it.

I get the impressions that the club is undermining the managers' authority in other ways, certain players with too much influence on those above the manager, which is leading to poor training and poor playing performance.

Those very much are on the owners.

Personally I think the glaziers are the epitomy of bad football club owners. The club is nothing more than a big advertising hoarding nowadays. I would go as far as saying a large proportion if not a majority of their big signings have commercial and marketing motivation over sporting.

If any fans want to protest against the ownership of their club then we, if any group of fans, should get it.

In the scheme of things I'm sure today will not bother the Glazers for a second. But if their (proper) fans just let them take multi- million dividends whilst servicing a multi-million debt they dumped on the club to make the purchase, whilst employing people who dont know anything about running a football club, then the protesters have my backing.

So Man Utd have some supporters who chanted arrogant songs….is that it? We’re the Blackpool Boys making ALL the noise everywhere we go……better stop singing that, far too arrogant

I genuinely don’t know why people try to rationalise why they hate other teams….just hate them, don’t make up pathetic justification reasons. There’s a few clubs I can’t stand for no rational reason and that’s fine
Reason most ”hate” United is because they were very successful for a good while, are the best supported team in the World AND it’s a safe and popular thing to say anywhere but a Utd Pub so it’s great for soft arses to pretend they are proper ….it always makes me howl 😂

This is part of the problem i think. People remember the arrogance and lack of class from a good number of their fans when they were top of the pile. I recall them singing that song at our ground. That other one grated too, about it being "so fookin easy" or suchlike.

Oh, and Andy Goldstein.
No fans of any club have ever taken the piss before?

To be fair, we do make all the noise😉

Basically like every other Club, including Blackpool🙄
Dazzler, cheers for your sickness spare ticket last week…..saved my youngest lad’s mate from having to shell out £25 on the gate. I’ll get you a pint when I see you. You missed out on The Ewood WMC…..Col will tell you a particular life highlight 👍

Have to disagree but it’s all personal opinion mate
Not half Blood, and all on a somewhat obscure football message board too😂
To be fair my mate who I sit with at the game is a lifelong Man U fan and lapsed ST holder. We've discussed it inside and out and he thinks things have gone massively downhill, not just on the pitch. Poor state of affairs for a footballing giant.

Knowing they were offside but playing on and scoring, and not putting their hands up for the penalty shout.

Any honest side would have allowed a goal or two to put right the officials' mistakes.

😉
Aye…like many teams have done in the whole of football history 👍😁

He‘s identical to me and he’s also right 👍

Personal dislike for the armchair fans in general, love a conversation begins with who do you follow/support etc…..United the reply……end of conversation as a good percentage have never been, don’t know where Old Trafford is and have no concept of what football is other than thinking outside the top 6 no other teams or leagues are of any consequence. I get that it’s expensive to go and must be tricky to get tickets but as a football fan I have always done what I can to get to games I want to go to….really really pisses me off tbh.

A fairly large minority just come across as really arrogant and lastly having been brought up in wales and a lot of kids taking the piss out of me for supporting Blackpool and been English for them to turn around and say they support an ENGLISH team did my head in.

So I suppose I don’t mind the club but dislike there fans in general ……..(2 of my best mates support United)

Makes sense!

Ten Haag is a good appointment for United. He has a good record at Ajax in developing young players but he will need time. Pogba going is a positive and although Ronaldo is a great role model I would be surprised if he is there next season.

Blood, i think most of the comments about united are a little bit to do with the fact that the younger generation ,being told by their parents that people that live in Manchester should support City ,as we all know a large majority of the united supporters are from outside of Manchester area (and i think the Munich disaster also maybe influenced people to support united, just my opinion of course).

They only protest because they’ve won sod all again. Wankers

Don’t really care about Manchester United, they could win the league next season or get relegated for me. What does irk me are those Blackpool born and bread replica top wearing ‘ultra fans’ who fill the pubs shouting at television sets on the pub wall. Boring & Irritating, intentionally stay away if there is PL football on the tellybox.
