They’ve been on a bad run so they protest the owners, in the summer they’ll spend big, it’ll all go quiet until a bad run again where they all decide to whip the Norwich scarves out again for some reason
Post of the board for me.Personal dislike for the armchair fans in general, love a conversation begins with who do you follow/support etc…..United the reply……end of conversation as a good percentage have never been, don’t know where Old Trafford is and have no concept of what football is other than thinking outside the top 6 no other teams or leagues are of any consequence. I get that it’s expensive to go and must be tricky to get tickets but as a football fan I have always done what I can to get to games I want to go to….really really pisses me off tbh.
A fairly large minority just come across as really arrogant and lastly having been brought up in wales and a lot of kids taking the piss out of me for supporting Blackpool and been English for them to turn around and say they support an ENGLISH team did my head in.
So I suppose I don’t mind the club but dislike there fans in general ……..(2 of my best mates support United)

Utd have more supporters in Manchester than City by a good distance ….they also have Worldwide support on top of that of courseBlood, i think most of the comments about united are a little bit to do with the fact that the younger generation ,being told by their parents that people that live in Manchester should support City ,as we all know a large majority of the united supporters are from outside of Manchester area (and i think the Munich disaster also maybe influenced people to support united, just my opinion of course).
Rambling nonsensical emotional wordsPost of the board for me.
As Roy Keane once said (not verbatim) that the average manyoo fan are sad individuals who support a successful team to make their own lives seem more successful. They are almost always arrogant c***s. Bad losers, fickle and know nothing about passion, pride and real camaraderie you get from following a club that means something personal to you.
My old boss who is from Blackpool supports Manyoo and Wigan Rugby. And any team not as good as his bandwagon teams he sneers at. You'll know exactly what I'm thinking . . .
Yeah….I know loads of United fans and the majority haven’t a clue how football works, however the two lads I’m close to have been season ticket holders since the 80s (one I have to admit has just given his up last season due to work) they can actually have a conversation regarding football and are in no way “glory supporters” your always going to back your lifelong club and I’ll never disagree with you for that however surely you can imagine there’s a very decent amount that are cretins and haven’t a clue. Also your comment about worldwide supporters, yeah again your correct but surely shows our comments regarding glory supporters etc someone in Thailand is hardly going to support Northampton Town over United ……they are a global force and are huge in most countries …..however they are still supported by a lot of glory supportersSo you dislike their fans ”in general” but the two you actually know are your best mates

Out of interest, if Utd needed to beat Blackpool in 2011 to win the title who would you gave wanted to win. There’s fans of every club that are “cretins” allegedly
HitsDon’t really care about Manchester United, they could win the league next season or get relegated for me. What does irk me are those Blackpool born and bread replica top wearing ‘ultra fans’ who fill the pubs shouting at television sets on the pub wall. Boring & Irritating, intentionally stay away if there is PL football on the tellybox.
how do you know that?(agree with your second comment though).Utd have more supporters in Manchester than City by a good distance ….they also have Worldwide support on top of that of course
good point ainscow73,maybe we will never know the answer.Out of interest, if Utd needed to beat Blackpool in 2011 to win the title who would you gave wanted to win.
Manyoo fan from Lancaster confirms my theory!Rambling nonsensical emotional words
I’d have wanted Blackpool to win …fact. United have won plenty and Blackpool staying uo meant more to me BUT knowing what I know now it would have probably meant the Os would still be in charge todaygood point ainscow73,maybe we will never know the answer.
Aye that’s right mate, you‘re spot on and you’ve made me look a right Toby with your geniusManyoo fan from Lancaster confirms my theory!
Nah you're doing that yourself!Aye that’s right mate, you‘re spot on and you’ve made me look a right Toby with your genius
Nah, you deserve the credit mate, you’re very cleverNah you're doing that yourself!
Your old Boss dominated you and you felt emasculated is my take away here………he sounds a Rotter and you should have challenged him at the time as it wouldn’t gnaw away at you now and you wouldn’t have to vent by posting about him behind his back on a messageboard …..though that is of course a risk free option in dealing with a Bully and much easier than actually dealing with themPost of the board for me.

Nah he, like other bandwagon losers, are obviously compensating for their own shortcomings. I just pitied him.Your old Boss dominated you and you felt emasculated is my take away here………he sounds a Rotter and you should have challenged him at the time as it wouldn’t gnaw away at you now and you wouldn’t have to vent by posting about him behind his back on a messageboard …..though that is of course a risk free option in dealing with a Bully and much easier than actually dealing with them
Kid yourself if that’s your coping mechanismNah he, like other bandwagon losers, are obviously compensating for their own shortcomings. I just pitied him.
Spot on. There are loads of people like me who historically from childhood support another team but go to see Blackpool regularly, cheer the Team on, want Blackpool to do well etc. People in that category are welcomed by some but despised by others. I’ve been called all sorts by quite a few but at the end of the day it’s a free Country and I don’t ask for other people’s opinions, nor seek their permission. Here's a thing - one of my mates is a Man United fan, has been to Bloomfield Road four times this season and has said he's going to get a BFC season ticket next year. Long may United's demise continue if it encourages a few more from the Fylde who really shouldn't be supporting United to come and watch us!
Very true. Football goes in cycles and I've no doubt their time will come again. Liverpool had a good few years in the doldrums albeit they did win a few cups. Arsenal aren't the force they were.I don t care what happens to Man United they have had a lot of good times under
Ferguson they were due for a downturn in their fortunes. They should be happy they
are still in the upper half of the Premiership
must be really depressing as a fan to be sixth in the prem. we need a more open playing field where more clubs can be relegated and all clubs have a chance to get to the premProtests before the game, more managers than McDonalds and now even with a Ronaldo hat-trick they can only just squeeze past practically relegated Norwich!
