Right you lot.
Stopping over on Friday for the forest game. How long to drive Marsden to Blackpool and is Seasiders Way now blocked off? Parking options ?

We were in rented in Marsden for three months before Xmas and it's an easy drive to J21 of M62. Took me about 1 hr 20 mins to get home but sometimes longer with the traffic to get to Blackpool. If you like real ale and a friendly pub with a cracking atmosphere get in the Riverhead.

Marsden? Played inter-club golf there a few times. Tunnel End? Not much else there, so you must be visiting someone.
Head West on the A62, (actually, it’s quite pleasant…..if you like moorland scenery), through ‘Owdam’ and pick up the M62. Hour and a quarter.
 
Tony Marsden. Centre forward he scored 1 goal for Blackpool in the Lg Cup 68/69. Think it was a win v Wolves. He was a regular in the reserve team for a couple of years before moving on.Made 5 first team lg apps. He played a couple of European Cup games for Cork. Passed away in his early 60's.

He was a mate of my old man's. I saw him play for Pool. I was at that Wolves League Cup match. We knocked City out in the previous round. Tony Coleman, then a City player, knocked out Tommy Hutch and got sent off. I think City were League Champions at the time.
