Mask wearing % today

Zero masks in a packed restaurant last night. Nobody walks in/ out or went to the bog switch a mask and zero staff wearing them. Still vulnerable so booked a table by an open window. Glad we did but won’t be going back
 
80% in most of the supermarkets and shops I’ve been in. I would like to ask them why they are wearing them and bet the majority think they are protecting themselves but most look a bit thick anyway
 
Was 1% masked in the Traveller's Rest last night. Until I arrived and then it was 0%. These Wacko Jacko wannabes just need a little encouragement to drop the act.
 
I’m sure nobody wants to wear one, but there are benefits beyond Covid. Look at last winter, hardly anyone had flu, or even a cold, and if you live in a city where pollution is high, they help prevent all sorts of respiratory diseases.

Less and less people are wearing them, but we’ll still see many for some time yet.

Well I don’t know anyone who had flu last winter and the medical profession has stated clearly that it was reduced massively. They also express concern that due to that, our immunity will be reduced and they expect a worse situation this winter with people discarding their masks. Time will tell I guess.

So reduced immunity and a worse situation this winter? What an excellent model they’ve adopted then this past year.

I also think they’ve dropped the ball waiting till 2020 to get people wearing masks, could’ve cured the flu years ago by the sounds of it.

So millions have caught one respiratory illness over another whilst the wearing of masks and you want to continue with them no thanks.

I said I don’t want to continue wearing one, the sooner we can get rid the better for me. I’m required to wear one all day at work.
