Match Abandoned

Heard from a very unreliable source that some Derby fans are planning a second half pitch invasion as a protest against the EFL, with a view to getting the match abandoned.
Would anyone support this? I certainly wouldn’t.

No I wouldn't support it they can do it at their last home game against Cardiff next Saturday not at an away game.

You'll just end up with a huge punch up if they try it at BR today and would be bang out of order.

Would make the police wish they hadnt agreed to such a large away allocation 😃
Yep, that was one of my thoughts as well.
As far as we're concerned, it would give Lancashire Police an excuse to insist on further segregation next season thus reducing revenues from away crowds (yes I understand the facilities are poor in the NE, but at least that's within the club's control).

Surely a protest would be better for Derby at home as a few have already said.

If they do then please, please do not join in, we can applaud them but I just hope it is just a rumour. I would be gutted if we as supporters simply end up giving Simon another bill to pay.
COYP
Why applaud them if they did that at our stadium on a sell out day?

Their situation is completely different to what ours was, they have benefited from overspending it seems and even in Jan some of their bigger players who you'd expect to go to reduce costs haven't.

All a bit weird for me.

Maybe not the fans fault but never is.

Tbh they should do it next week at their own ground unless they are banking on support from us as they know we have had ownership issues?

Not bothered either way, but you just know it will be score dependant. For example if they are 2-0 up will they still do it?

Ideally they’d be better off doing it next week when they’re home to Cardiff as that would really piss off the Taffs after that fiasco last time with the snow, making Cardiff fans travel all the way to Pride Park only to cancel the fixture last minute 😂

I thought they were doing a beach invasion

Didn't see them protesting when they were buying players for huge fees and wages that they couldn't afford . See ya.

Travelled up by train this morning. Quite a few Derby got on at Crewe and were talking about going on the pitch.
If so two weeks running for me, I was at Oldham last Saturday...and I have to be back at North for the 17:28.

If they hadn't thought of it, then are are aware now.

Doubt it will an organised event say on the 74th minute (last time they won the league), but if one, then another gets on the pitch you can see more following.

Hope not

As previous poster states if you want to protest and cause issues do it at your own place not other people’s

Turns out the only pitch invaders were that fat kid with the skew wiff tangerine mohican and one little Derby scroat with nifty footwork 😂
