Match day music - never again

How on earth could any match day music have improved any atmosphere yesterday - please give up on it .

What noise could have been better than Preston get battered as they walked their dirty little arses off the Gold Coast pitch.

Fantastic- we used to need match day music as we didn’t support the club like this.

Match day music = a team with shot support and no passion .

Come on the pool

I'd have Grandma, we love you by the St. Winifred's church choir, personally.

Jingle Jamgle - we should sing it - it really should be our Anthem - the lyrics match some of ‘our journey’ - we can change a few words

It’s worth a listen !

100% agree, I have and always will ** hate music in grounds.

The idea that a tinny rendition of Fatboy Slim’s “Right Here, Right Now” through an underpowered PA into a half empty, out of town stadium somehow builds atmosphere is the sort of thing dreamt up by the same minds that brought us half and half scarves.

Possibly the best thing that’s happened post-Oyston is that Glad All Over was ditched.

Sweet Caroline played over the tannoy and a mass singalong by the Reading fans was one of the most cringeworthy things I've seen.

First time in the NW corner; decent view, good support too; shit PA and system.

Unless and until we change the system, just knock out on the head.

Honestly, people are chatting, they are filing themselves, they are filming each other filming themselves or they are on the concourse having a drink. Of anybody wants music, they have ear buds or headphones to their phones or a Walkman. One fella insists on causing a radio by his ear listening to 693 on the medium wave channel.

The opposition in known in July, the team(s) are known at 2pm, there is a huge great big screen in the corner with the latest information and we can count and know the score.

The only thing useful the PA should be used for at BR is an emergency announcement such as the usual last match of the season "stay off the pitch or we'll get deducted 32 points and be relegated" from Shouty McShout face in an increasingly angry voice. "If I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times, we won't get promoted if you're celebrating making it to the play off final - again!"

Please just bin it off.

Got in the ground at 2.50 and genuinely didn't hear one song over our PA system on Saturday - did they actually play any?

I’m not gonna lie, I love the choice of music in the concourses. Much better listening to Joy Division and the like than some Radio 1 playlist they spew out at most grounds.
