Matty Phillips or Tom Ince

Who was the better player, it looks like Phillips has had more success since he left Blackpool.
Ince! Phillips demolish the cods but apart from that the amount of times he went missing on the pitch you forgot he was there. If he was a good finisher we would have beat West Ham in the play off final.

They were both awesome in that play off season with Kevin Phillips, Taylor Fletcher and Lua Lua scaring defences.
Couldn’t split them when they played for us

Tom Ince was much better with us but his career never took off.

Phillips has managed to play regularly at a higher level than Ince so overall you've got to say Phillips.

Both were almost unplayable for spell in that season we lost in the play off final. As said Phillips has had a better career, it’s a shame Ince’s head got a bit ruined by his dad as he could have been an England player with the right club.

Remember Bolton away , they were both brilliant , I always thought that Phillips didn’t use his height or strength sufficiently enough.

I think people's views of Ince are clouded by his dad as well as his exit.

His performances for us at times were absolutely outstanding and looked a level or two above on many occasions.

Not mine. The stats between the 2 of them don't lie. Phillips has been far more successful.

Phillips has certainly had the better career of the two, and I'm not comparing them, more just recognising the impact Ince had with us before the acrimony of his departure.
