Maxwell

Fantastic hyperbole
27 clean sheets in 192 games.

I've only been interested in him since he's been a Seasider and I can't remember him having a decent game yet, I'd go as far as to reiterate that he is as bad as what we've had for a long time. He tends to stay on his line and watches shots come in and hope for the best.

Shocking!

And when we signed him everyone was rather him than Alnwick🤔 Maxwell was crap then and is crap now. Doesn’t command his space whereas Alnwick did with his sheer size. Maxwell will get us relegated, our defence look like they have no confidence in him.

I wasn't excited when we signed him, what I do remember about him were his howlers whilst at the nobbers (which I thought were hilarious at the time.

Just look at him again tonight can't hold a ball, always 2 or 3 times to get it under control.

Goal was down to left back not being good enough at defending. Shot went through defenders legs making it difficult for keeper. That was never a sending Off, booking yes, but wimbledon influenced ref. Hate to say this but need to get ref to level numbers up, enter Hamilton. We were playing ok going forward.

Harsh when it went through defenders legs, piss poor defending to let him get in that opportunity. Great save to keep it 1 nil tho. But agree don't think he should be captain, don't like any keepers being captain.

I think Maxwell got away with this last night because of the two sendings off but that was a poor goal to concede.

I thought he made at least 3 decent saves (stats show he made 4 saves in total) but he's not been as good with the ball at his feet these last couple of games.
He's far from being the problem (or the scapegoat) for our current form.
