Remember that thread earlier in the season when pretty much all of us explained to the Nobbers on here that the season will play out just as it always does?

Start brightly and by January wheels are well and truly off. Fans stop going, everyone is bored and it’s once again another dull, vanilla season in Nobbsville.

They’d probably welcome relegation just to have a chance of a season where promotion was possible? Such a bland, tedious club.

Some clearly deluded and dont appreciate what they’ve had, they aren't a big club and have been very lucky to have a billionaire owner. They should appreciate being near the top. Based on the crowds and income they aren't far away from us. It was only when they started giving dirt cheap tickets and the free kids do their ST numbers rise. Before that crowds in general weren't far off what we got in the championship after decades of neglect, infact the ST were less according to their own numbers.

I'd 'hate' to see how they'd do after a bad season and if prices go back to normal.

You were right, incredibly lucky set of results though.

Hardly surprising, only have to look at their cup draws, never known a club be so lucky.

That'll probably save Lowe for a while as for now, they're still somehow 8th lol.

They've basically lost the plot despite being just outside the playoffs... and they say we've got delusions of grandeur...

Yea it has got a bit tighter on that side of the table, there's a group of teams waiting to overtake them too.

Think they're too far off relegation due to the start, but whoknows, if they keep losing...
 
I can’t help but look at the championship table on a regular basis and reflect on what a strong division it is this season, pisses me off we ain’t in it😡

I work with 2 PNE fans.....and It's been so much fun today re-living their QPR agony and getting into their heads

Both said that Lowe is a dead man walking at the club because the majority of the fans have had enough.....😅
They both believe he will be potted by their Leeds game on the 1st January as they 'think' PNE have already picked his replacement.

They were also saying that Hemmings Jr has just pumped another £10m into the club in a share purchase
One said that this money was going to be used to buy 'reinforcements' for their "Premiership" push......🤣😂😅
And they both still thought PNE will make the play-off's

Just had a peek at the Championship table, they are now a massive 18 points off top and an incredible -30 deficit goal difference from current top team Leicester City.
Still 8th but only 12 points off the drop zone and a piss poor goal difference compared to just about everyone between them and the drop. Its pretty tight in that middle order.

They are celebrating getting Chelski away in the FA Cup, first time of playing them in 30 years. Couldn’t resist pointing out you need to have been in the premiership to play at the big clubs.

And to think both Sunderland and Swansea who are above the Nobbers on that chart both potted their managers yesterday. 🤷‍♂️

That said let’s just hope Hemmings keeps Lowecomotion on the payroll otherwise it’ll spoil our fun. 🤣

Simple answer is because it's the championship.

Minus goal diff doesn't help at the end of the season but it's usually a close league on points because most teams are just as inconsistent as each other.

Nobody else took any advantage of their loss over the weekend so 28 from 19 games is still good for being one win off the play off places so far.

Lowe's playing style and tactics look very much designed to keep niggling away and just about keep their hand in due to the incompetence of their competitors. Like they did against flimsy Blackburn. If a team was a player they'd be Brad Potts. Annoying smug-faced athletic tall effective man bun shithouse.
