We have had poor midweek run of results for the last 3 seasons home or away.
QPR at home last year was the first midweek (league) home win in almost 2 years.

Yeah you're right. So it's 5 points from a possible 21.

In the 4 Tuesday home league games we've W1 D1 L2. Drew with PV, lost to Derby and Northampton.

Why do we often struggle to show up for night games? Scared of the dark?

I know, we seem to play with more freedom in cup games, seems to suit us.

Tells me the squad isn't as strong as some people think, the likes of Connolly, Carey, Virtue just not adding enough so when we rotate we are too weak.

Should've worded it better, possibly we could have rotated more often if we had better back up, but there are too many in the squad that are a long way off what's needed. So either good players play too often or the squad men come in and make us weak. The problem is more apparent when we have midweek games.

You are the issue clearly - don't buy anymore games until next season, or even ever.
