Might as well cancel the season now

Honestly I reckon we should call the season null and void because the growing backlog of games is getting ridiculous now, just call off this season and we go again. This just can’t continue, this season is getting to be a joke 😡
 
Why??? Anyway the bar has been set, reduced capacity for the next three seasons if we’re lucky and games being called of for flu. The future is bleak unfortunately, may as well carry on cos we will be no further forward in six months.

If we’re top of the table, I would be saying the exact same thing because there is no way we can carry on with this backlog of fixtures and at this rate, we will be playing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays! I know they are professional footballers and they get paid thousands of pounds a week but there is no way we can continue and the way it’s going they are going to be absolutely knackered and we are not going to get promoted anyway. I know people might disagree with me and if they do that’s fine but I’m sorry this season can’t continue, this season is an absolute shambles 😡

I think MAC made a fair point to be honest.

Do you think our supporters would be campaigning to have the season ended and declared null and void if we were top of the league or even towards the top ?
 
Some teams have played 28 games sorry but in life it can't always be about you(BFC).

Just finish the whole thing otherwise the PL will be asking back the Grant money its handed over and let's face it with Covid around they shouldn't have really started it in the first place but hey that's hindsight.
 
I think there would be scope to extend the season if an early decision was taken to scrap Euro2020. Given the format for that, I'm struggling to see how going ahead with it can be justified at the moment.

There's only a couple off matches off tomorrow in League 1, so far.

I don't see a problem. Just play the P/O finals elsewhere. How many L1 & L2 players are going to involved? Mutually exclusive.

As for the OP, it's like we've never had a cold winter before and now I'm looking at the date and guess what, spring isn't that far away.

Was going to post an O/P the other day saying the same how on earth can the Euros go ahead when they are being played in 12 countries no flaming chance!
