Moaning Minnies

These threads really aren’t constructive. We’ve just been relegated, of course some people are going to have the odd gripe. As long as it’s relaid in a fair and balanced manner, what’s the problem? This isn’t North Korea, we don’t have to be 100% positive about everything. Our fanbase should know that better than anyone. Constructive criticism and scrutiny is important.

Neither are the one’s constantly criticising, of course people will have a positive perspective when they see positive things happening!
Some of the criticism appears to played out without giving due time to the club to do their business.
Some people hey…,.want everything yesterday 😜

Maybe this could have been done last season? Appointed a proper manager and backed him?

Maybe those with the positive spin on everything should open their eyes and that criticism is a good thing. Continuous improvement is a good thing.

What isn't good and is actually catastrophic is just accepting everything and a section of our fanbase did that with the Oystons for longer than they should have.

Simon said he was the custodian and accountable for the success of this club, he's had a blip and people rightly have had a pop at him.

Anyone who is a Blackpool fan should be delighted with the signings we've made. Posts like this are just nonsense tbh.

The biggest group of "Moaning Minnies" I've noticed are them moaning about so called moaners. 🤷

I remember once of a day it was called having an opinion, having bought the right to question how things could be done better, or maybe just mentioning the fact we've be severely hamstrung (no pun intended) by a couple of seasons of simply horrendous injury problems.

"Gripe" apparently they are forbidden as are concerns or even questioning anything that isn't totally kissing Sadler's arse.

Yes, it should have been done last season but maybe it was not possible then for various reasons. Criticism is only useful if it leads to improvement, otherwise it's pointless and just leads to a despondent fanbase. SS will do what the fcuk he likes, and it's not as if he can be voted out if we don't like it. Thankfully what he does do is the best he can, for the good of the club, with his own money. 👍

The only blip for me last season was Neil Critchley leaving unexpected at a crucial time, which threw us completely.
It seemed like panic stations for the whole season after that.
Now he’s back so onwards and upwards👆

I was a morning Minnie and imho rightly so. My fears have now been partially addressed with two quality signings in Norburn and Pendleton..still need a leftie defender who can find a pass, a couple of wide players and most importantly two very good strikers assuming Jerry goes…I think Lavery will be great this season but I don’t fancy Holmes and Beesley at all from what I have seen..they would be bench at very best

Because last season the club completely went off track and have now reset.
That may be one positive facet of the current situation, but the OP says never been better. Sorry, for me the division we play in is the ultimate arbiter of how we are doing as a club.

Fair comment, just taking the positives from a shambles of a season

It’s looking positive for next season. We have a good chance of starting well I think with the fixtures and the players we’ve acquired so far. Fingers crossed, as I’m sick of us looking like a football team with no clue how to play football ha ha! Dobbie was a blast of fresh air in that respect so hoping Critchley can keep that going.
