It works out at Ā£6 a game for the seasonā€¦

You get exclusive access to a comfortable bar area.

Itā€™s an absolute bargain if you ask meā€¦and certainly donā€™t expect a free pint šŸ‘
The club have probably spent 100s of thousands on doing a new bar where you get faster more comfortable service with much better facilities but as usual Blackpool fans want everything for fuck all. Sick to death of everyone whinging how much things are if you donā€™t wanna pay it then donā€™t, parrafins.

Boards full of champagne socialists that want SS to give them free entry to the game and buy them beer all day so they can piss and moan about the service and quality Afterwards.

Looks very pompous, proper VIP roped off area for no need at all... could do it but would feel very embarrassed and prefer not to be in a room with random people

Whyā€™s it different than any other corporate option
You donā€™t get a meal ?
No one is going to randomly go in alone
Itā€™s for mates to meet up pre and post match
Donā€™t understand the negativity

Nice new bar where you can get a new match day experience = people whinge about paying a tenner = dossers, itā€™s that simple sick of reading this board about people whinging about the price of everything yet think Simon Sadler should spend 1.5 million on a centre midfielder but wonā€™t spend 4 quid on a beer.

Exactly
We should be focusing on the policy on reciprocal pricing not people happy to pay a coupe of extra. quid for better refreshment options and a bit of a social
No one had to pay for the Moretti
Everyone pays for the reciprocation stance

Spot on. Folk with more money than sense who'll pay it to have that feeling of being better than you is no problem. That's your own interaction with the club. Offer up the roof as a champagne lounge or something for five grand a pop as well, whatever. But fleecing the people that you're supposed to be no different than if you're a fan yourself and know how it is, not so sure. 20-25 walk up in the championship with no f** about or extra cost is what I'd think you can expect to pay whilst feeling like you're doing your bit but not having the piss taken. And if a club stands to fail because of the extra fiver then they're a shit club model that's going to fail anyway and it's just greed.

If they were making you pay, then fair enough.
They're not.
Stop whining, it's a tenner. If you don't want to go, then don't.
If it was the Oystons then I'd be the first to say go and fuck yourself.
It's not, and you know now that the money will go back into the club.
There's a new stand and training facility to pay for and you moan about ten quid ffs.

The Club has turned two old dossy pre-lets into two modern bars for fans to have a better match day experience. Decent lager on tap, gets away from the crowded concourse too. The Club offer a service and try to improve their income. Whatā€™s not to like?

Itā€™s Ā£10 to experience the above. You donā€™t have to pay it. The moaners probably donā€™t buy a drink in the ground anyway šŸ¤£

Stick to taking your pack lunches in the ground or only drinking at home as you can buy 4 cans for Ā£5 from the Offy and you prefer your own company.

Itā€™s a social experience to sit with your pals and interact with people. Radical concept but I remember paying to get in Nightclubs to do the same.

Tight as cramp some people šŸ˜‚ weā€™re on this planet to enjoy ourselves šŸ˜

So dull.

Wonder how long it would take the Real Ale Bores to pop along slagging off Lager.šŸ™„

I'll give the lounge a go at some point why not it's only a tenner FFS.

Not a real Ale Bore at all, just don't particularly like Moretti as it tastes like a cheap synthetic Peroni

Why slag it off?

If it's not for you, just walk on by.....
I've received an email about it, I've read this thread about it so yep they are trying to sell it to me. That's why I've commented on it which I'm perfectly entitled to do. The same way that people are criticising the club for charging Ā£30 for a match day ticket. People have a right to express their opinions be that good or bad. What some see as negative others see as positive and vice versa. Two examples here being given,

what a terrible idea from the club trying to give people WHO ARE INTERESTED a better match day experience.

This board is embarrassing at times.

Well done to SS and the board šŸ‘
Yep, good stuff. Of couse the club are right to sell it to those people that are interested, And equally so, those people that they are entitled to sell it are entitled to say why they are NOT interested. Or are you trying to supress people having an opinion?. As I said in my previous post plenty of posters on here seem to have an opinion and want to get involved in the debate about the club charging Ā£30 for match day tickets. Seems to be an awful lot of hypocrisy on here depending on peoples own view point on this particular topic.

I think thereā€™s a difference between people having an opinion and saying the reason why people who go is to have ā€˜a feeling of superiorityā€™

People have different likes and dislikes, nothing to do with feeling better than those who either canā€™t afford it, or it isnā€™t their idea of fun.

Itā€™s simply not fair, I have to try to push into the bar for block M, and I give up most of the time, queues for beer and food, nowhere to put your beer down if you have food to eat, because thereā€™s a couple of ledges which are always taken, no seats, no tables. Come on Simon, can we have some of this extra match experience please.

Just for the record, I've not criticised anyone who is interested or given any reason for being so. I've simply expressed my opinion.

What do you actually get for Ā£10, apart from entry to a bar ?
Itā€™s an alien concept to the ā€œOW MUCH!ā€ brigade, but you get the opportunity to support your club and have access to a decent bar.

Christ I was paying Ā£15 to enter nightclubs 30 years ago and people want a free pintā€¦ Dobthey ask for a free pint when they buy a footy shirt from the Club shop?

Itā€™s just a way of putting a few more quid into the club coffers and making your day at the football with your mates a bit more of a decent social.

Iā€™m sure some people just want to spend their lives in abject miseryā€¦ The shyte Iā€™ve read on here ā€œThe seats look uncomfortableā€ā€¦ ā€œPeople just want to feel superiorā€

What a bunch of wankers šŸ‘Ž

looks pretty basic to me. Chairs don't look comfy and if by chance it got busy, well it's not exactly a big bar so service could be slow. At 10 quid a throw to ger basically nothing, well I think I'll pass.
The chairs are actually ergonomically designed and have a massage setting.

So if I go in the moretti lounge and pay a tenner with my mates itā€™s because I feel superior to everyone else haha heard it all, itā€™s a tenner, the more the club earn in revenue the better it will perform on the pitch.
So so strange our fans.

The ones who donā€™t want to spend money and donā€™t think other people should be spending money or we think weā€™re superior are probably the same ones that think everyone should sit down and not enjoy themselves, and swearing in football songs is disgusting.

As far as I can see, our stadium has not only been totally neglected since it was built, but it hasn't been utilised to its fullest. This is most definitely a positive development, along with the Heineken lounge (which I have tried). We have two brand new bars that the club are offering fans, how can that be a bad thing? It will have cost a significant amount to renovate these spaces in the stadium so I see the admission really just the club recovering that cost faster than would be the case otherwise. It's worth it imo, and I think most people will have a good experience if you try it.
The Oystons would never have done something like this, they would've needed all the tables pre-let to consider it.
The stadium is slowly but surely becoming something that I thought it would be when it was first built, and when the east is built it'll be something finally to be proud of.

Lots of people donā€™t actually know how to enjoy themselves mate.

These same people then get the hump when they see other people attempting to enjoy themselves, itā€™s almost jealous like but I would say they are just boring and dull as fook.

Weā€™re turning old wasted Oyston pre-let space into modern bars for fans to have a better pre-match and half-time experience and to increase profits. Any moans about this just speak volumes about the individuals social awkwardness, lack of friends (which is linked to the previous) and how they are tighter than a ducks arse.

Anyway, enough of the psycho analysis but itā€™s the same crew who didnā€™t mind lockdowns as they had no social life anyway. Iā€™m not in there today but we will be lots of times this season.

Chant starting We are superior ā€¦ We are superior šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ˜

Oh and just to add-

The above people will be waiting for the first hint of trouble from the North this season and flagging up this lounge as a potential issue, just watch šŸ™ˆ ā€œthe Neanderthals with bellies full of bloody Birra Morretiā€ā€¦
