Moretti lounge (Now includes October special offer, pie + pint free)

The moretti bar isnt the problem, if people want to pay a tenner for the privilege of buying a beer. Thats their problem
But get the 30 quid ticked prices down and lets make this a club for the community.

And look at some of the nonsense above, one guy justifying what a bargain the moretti bar is because he used to pay 15 quid to get in a nightclub. Remember, people paid for nightclubs because they shut the pubs at 11. If you dodnt pay you went home.

Lots of people don’t actually know how to enjoy themselves mate.

These same people then get the hump when they see other people attempting to enjoy themselves, it’s almost jealous like but I would say they are just boring and dull as fook.

We’re turning old wasted Oyston pre-let space into modern bars for fans to have a better pre-match and half-time experience and to increase profits. Any moans about this just speak volumes about the individuals social awkwardness, lack of friends (which is linked to the previous) and how they are tighter than a ducks arse.

Anyway, enough of the psycho analysis but it’s the same crew who didn’t mind lockdowns as they had no social life anyway. I’m not in there today but we will be lots of times this season.

Chant starting We are superior … We are superior 💪🏽😁

Oh and just to add-

The above people will be waiting for the first hint of trouble from the North this season and flagging up this bar as a potential issue, just watch 🙈
It’s perfect, we have a big group and we did the Heineken lounge once and we all loved it but we didn’t return because we love being in the north now we have our own in the north we will use it a dozen times this season easily, anything the club does like this is a thumbs up from me, anyway I’ll see you in there this season first pints on you because they’re well too expensive.

Exactly the same as our group.

I’ll get the first pints but only if you pay me in, not made of money 🤪

It’s really not a problem knobber… I use £50 notes to light my cigars.

Bet you went home (alone) 😂

Nonsense "adams kebab", for less than a tenner it was drink all you can on a thursday night in heaven and hell. Plenty of girls there too particularly in heaven. So you didnt need to be splashing the cash pretending to be a big man....those were good days.

Makes sense to use the otherwise redundant space in ways that expand the concourse and boost income by taking money off factory lager drinkers. And herding them into enclosed spaces they fund themselves. Get some some decent beer on the concourse and we're sorted! 😆

Don’t want to be pedantic but it was never that.

It was double your money but it you didn’t go in Hell it says a lot about your type of partying 😵‍💫

Youre not being pedantic youre just wrong
Double yoir money was waterfront, heaven and hell was all you can drink, thats why it was so popular.

There was alot more girls in heaven, the pillheads probably put alot of them off venturing into hell.

Yeah it looks class, shame I probably won't get to as many games this season as last as I'd use it for sure.

I don't see what the issue is, if u want to be able to get a few beers with nice surroundings then do it... if u don't then go in concourse (this also frees up space there).

I've paid £30 for a ticket today so ain't doing it (was tempted) but already penned in NYD game as a defo to do it.

Ultimately club are trying to maximise as much revenue as possible and who can blame them.

You never know next Simon might open a bar in town called hellfire 🤪

It works out at £6 a game for the season…

You get exclusive access to a comfortable bar area.

It’s an absolute bargain if you ask me…and certainly don’t expect a free pint 👍
Well in the Heineken bar it was 10 for ST upgrade, access and a chicken burger, I just think these deals are more appealing to more with something included. Haven't they taken that away now for the Heineken one and its just for access and the beer deals?

Each to their own but a beer costs the club very little.

If its full without it then happy days.

It's funny some will moan like fuck about a quid or 2 here or there on tickets but mention a beer lounge and suddenly people lose thier shit 😂

You can guarantee as well if the club had come out and said Moretti lounge includes access 1 free beer.... people wouldn't say FFS why are the club giving it away, WTF are they doing, people would say that sounds good and a really good deal, well done BFC. 🙄

Moretti is a decent enough Lager too… OK it’s not brewed in a rusty tin bucket with nettles and reindeer piss, but it’s got a bit of flavour about it.
You're such a card. 🙄😆

Just get in that lounge and get your wallet out and shut up. Pints of actual piss for a fiver, plus the tenner in. 😆

Both the Moretti and Heineken Lounges are booked up way in advance.

Why would you want to turn it into sone kind of charity bar? It defeats the whole purpose…

Maybe try one of the soup kitchens in town if your stuck👍

Ahh one extreme to the other.

So the club were mad for giving a chicken burger with the Heineken lounge.....

However as said for me thats what I'd do, I'm not really that bothered, if its full then happy days. Someone asked what you get I said what I thought you should get based off what you got in the Heineken last season.

Doesn't bother me, I drive down.

It one of those ‘don’t knock until you try it’ I haven’t yet, but will do.
You have to admire the club for using ‘unused’ space and finding revenue streams - that RB will be signed much quicker 😜

If we had West Ham’s pricing - this board would implode for the full season!

Looks decent from the pics, a welcome additional option and place for fans.

No they weren’t mad at all… They were starting out and trying to encourage demand for a new product.

The objective though is to max out profit on these things for the club… So I don’t get why anyone sees the need to turn it into sone kind of bargain bucket day out.

We hear the same with the corporate lounge … How people could go to a top restaurant cheaper etc etc… The whole point of it is to support the Club and get much needed money into the coffers… It’s not about affordability, it’s all about maxing out revenue and rightly so….

The people who use these facilities do so (in the main at least) with their eyes wide open. Yet you get all the bollocks from people saying “ if they’re stupid enough to waste their money on xxxxx & yyyyyy then more fool them” etc…

Matchday Ticket pricing is another thing altogether…. And of course there needs to be some focus on ensuring the games are accessible to as many people as possible.

I've received an email about it, I've read this thread about it so yep they are trying to sell it to me. That's why I've commented on it which I'm perfectly entitled to do. The same way that people are criticising the club for charging £30 for a match day ticket. People have a right to express their opinions be that good or bad. What some see as negative others see as positive and vice versa. Two examples here being given,
So where are they going to get the£££millions to build a new TG and East Stand.
Advertising does not insist you go, it merely tells you of it's availability.

Well this is a new product too, people in the north dont want a chicken burger so a liquid lunch was suggested.

I get trying to maximise revenue, however in general there's a pricey feel to things the club do and thats reflected in many people's comments, maybe thats needed for us to compete in the championship but I and many others feel it's not quite right overall.

There's also hitting the sweetspot for prices that allow as many people to attend and grow the fanbase.

I haven't seen a price come out yet, like other championship clubs do, that attracts universal praise. You know when you see it, that'll shift tickets. Call it an investment in the fans maybe.

Considering the area the club is in and the fan owner, I find that a tad disappointing.

Ironically the cat system probably provided better cheaper games for walk on fans, if they ditched the on the day too.

I'd probably rather sell BR naming rights and have cheaper tickets if it was possible. It's the one area I haven't seen much progress, obviously there's a balance but people will always want more revenue and more fans in.

For me I'd rather have a squad of 20 similar players and fill the rest with the good youth lads than have 25 all similar, again if it meant having a cheap walk on price and 12k pool fans for eg.

Some people just won't pay or can't afford to pay some of the high prices the club are charging.

Look at this fan, this is why the english leagues rip off fans, because theres people like this applauding it....

Maxing out revenue, max out profit blah blah blah. The supporters at the german clubs dont think this way, they have a better idea of what the clubs are for.

I'm due in there today but am concerned that I will be subjected to a Game of Thrones style chant of 'shame' as I enter and exit the Lounge of excess and depravity! 😣
Shocking behavior, working all week then spending you own money on whatever you like......I can't see it catching on tbh. 😂

You’re not even a Blackpool Fan… Stick to your Butter Pies and mine sweeping other peoples pints you knobber tramp.

Someone has a different opinion so I'll say they're a preston fan. Dullard.

I dont share your opinion that the club should look to maximise the amount of money it can get out of the supporters. Cant you just offer to pay double for tickets, for the good of the club.

It’s exactly the same as the Heineken Bar, but a different location in the ground and different themed lager.

And it’s really not pricey… Not at all..

As for the rest of it, I’d rather we focused on winning games rather than cheapening the product.

You’re not fooling anyone fella… 😉

What is the point of a new east stand that holds no more people than the stand that is already there.

Not really on about the upgrade.

You could say that about anything, we could charge 35 and make a bit more revenue maybe, but it has to be about affordability too.

The membership scheme makes it better but new fans aren't going ot get on for a first game or even some casuals might not.

Obviously if were doing well it'll attract more but people won't be able to afford to come regularly in the current climate at the high prices.

There's always the extra boost a bigger crowd gives you in getting over the line in games, it can help with an even more intimidating atmosphere.

For me, before you raise prices you should build up the fanbase, we got promoted in covid and missed out on a playoff sellout and Wembley 30k. We still need to attract people back and get them hooked, price is a big factor in that.

You missed a trick on Thursday nights Jaffa, it was 60p a pint in Illusions.

Like you, I also used to go home alone but on all the nights I didn't have 17 pints, I went home with more money in my Davy Crockett.

...and as I've said, I've simply offered my thoughts which I'm perfectly entitled to do. If people want to go I hope they all enjoy themselves. As to where are they gonna get the millions from. Well I expect people who have to pay £30 to see a home game if they are not a season ticket holder will help contribute to that.. Something that has drawn much criticism.

What is the point of a new east stand that holds no more people than the stand that is already there.
1. Will be around mich longer.
2. Facilities.
3. Multi- purpose
4. Designed so that we don't have chunks of seats covered up hopefully.
5. It's part of a larger scheme to improve the whole area east of the ground.
