Morgan Rogers

Big, fast, skilful and creative.

If we can blag him on a permanent then that’s the model SS needs. One good season in Div 1 and he’s worth £5m

He’s probably done enough last few games though to attract a decent championship loan again.
My understanding is that both he & Fiorini were with us with a view to both signing permanently at the end of this season. Now that may well be linked to us still being in the Championship, but if the club wants to show their intention then they need to be doing all they can to make it happen.

Well, I doubt he will getting in Man City's forward line anytime soon so yeah, he might as well stay with us...
Or maybe go to another championship club on loan🤷

Where would you like to be plying your trade next season Morgan, Blackburn, Southampton, West Brom?
Or maybe Shrewsbury, Bristol Rvs and Burton🤣🤣🤣🤣

Very good today, they all were. Still a big restructure needed. Get the manager situation sorted as soon asap be it the Dobster or a positive guy, not some hasbeen !

The sort of player we should be talking to City about for another season's loan. Saturday's performance will have aroused some interest,

He played very few games last season and was injured for half of this so a more relevant question would be: Do you want to get 40 games under your belt in League 1 or warm the bench in the Championship? He's still only 20.

Yep I’m another one who’s a fan, said it before but I see a lot of Matt Phillips in him.

I think he’s done well overall but yesterday and Birmingham away he was superb.

He will only get better, would love him back next season, he clearly cares for the club and loved it here so who knows.

The chances of us signing Rogers are precisely zero unless some Hollywood stars or some random billionaire suddenly fancy us, the chances of which are also zero.

It's the same at the end of every season, we debate which of our loanees of the season we'd like back, either loaned or permanent. Considering that we have an average of 4/5 loanees every season I'd love to know what percentage of them actually do return the following season, I'm guessing it's less than 5%.

Suppose it depends what experience they've had, how competitive we are with wages and the problem is if they have been any good that's usually notified other clubs who then come in and nick them from under our noses.
Loans will be massive in League One and hopefully the fact we now seem to have these relationships with the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool should bode well. Who was the last United loanee we had?

Don't know but still have nightmares about Neil Whitworth

up to Barry Murphy-Brian or whatever his name is ...oh and Pep I guess

Morgan Rogers may get matches, at a Championship side, but only a few weeks ago people were saying he was crap.
Still think we should buy him for up to 1 million as I think he has a great future and he knows he would be guaranteed game time here
Won’t get his left foot for £1m

Morgan had a really strong end to the season.
Would love to see him back next season.

Yep. In his interview after Norwich, the Dobbmeister talked of him being still young and a real confidence player.
Unfortunately, his arrival coincided with that of McCarthy, who drained belief out of just about everyone.

He's clearly improved under a vastly more inspirational (interim) manager.

Ben Woodburn was touted as a future Liverpool first teamer and worth millions, think he WAS A free to PNE.
Morgan had a bad injury which kept him out for many months and before that had an unimpressive loan to Bournemouth.
He is out of contract next season, but his, salary may be an issue.
When played as, a winger he, was average at best, so is new to the role of striker, but that is, where I see his future.

Reminds me of a young Ollie Watkins. Started out as a big, pacey winger and gradually moved to striker as he matured

I think we have every chance of signing him. Everything is there to see the club must make these decisions and bring this type of player in.
Yes he will play in the prem but he's not ready for that yet or to sit on the bench in a 18 man squad down at Norwich or whoever. SS must
see this and move to get him the sooner the better. At 20yrs he is ready for a club like Blackpool. These are the type of players we must act on
and bring to our club, its a no brainer !

His fee will be way higher due to his future potential and future sell-on value. Man City don’t give players away and besides which every little helps towards FFP for them. Be lucky to get him for £5m.

He's not worth £5m, one day maybe in a couple of years.

He’s only scored one goal so is more likely worth about £5
