By clearing out sicknotes and people who never play anyway. We need quality as well as just decent L1 players
Simon will know all about speculate to accumulate.
He will never play for Man City in a meaningful game, they have had him for 3 years and 2 years, ago they would have been happy to flog him in a, loan buy agreement

Yeah like you know buddy.

Yet more baseless speculation.

The facts are that he is a very good prospect and signed to an EPL club. We are in League 1 with a commensurate budget and moderate attendances.

SS is already speculating and not accumulating. There is a point where it pitches into gambling. Read the Simon Jordan book.

Talking to a City mate of mine who has spoken to Rogers a few times and he told me last night that he loved his time at BFC but would be looking for a Championship club loan again next season if he goes out however he also said with City performing on so many stages he hopes he might be involved there in the League Cup etc.

We rarely, if ever, see loanees returning after good seasons, or, indeed, at all.

Parent clubs want promising young players to be assessed at relatively high levels; they certainly won't perceive farming them out to teams in lower divisions than the one in which they last appeared as beneficial to their development

Speculation on here about the return of Ballard, Embleton, Simms and Sterling was rife, before they all went elsewhere.
Think it's fair to assume we won't see Morgan in League One next season

The parent clubs want the players to progress, they start them out in L1, next season they want them in the Championship, and if that works out it's either their squad, a loan to another PL club, or an overseas club.

If a player gets stuck at a level, they'll move him on.

I can't imagine City being unrealistic in seeing his season last season and saying maybe the Championship was too soon. His return wasn't great at us or at Bournemouth.

I may be clutching at straws but I'd love to see him back down the left next season. 1 goal & 1 assist in 20 appearances is not good enough at Championship level.

He did well at Lincoln in League One... 🤷🏻‍♂️
