Moscow now

Wouldn’t surprise me if they just rounded up a few unfortunates to pin it on them.
Well they couldn’t stop the attacks. Despite plenty of foreign embassies warning their nationals of an impending attack. But somehow they were able to catch “the suspects” very quickly.

And let’s face it, if you’re having bits chopped off you’re going to say whatever you need to say to stop it happening.

Along the lines of “Yes. I was personally interviewed and recruited by Zelensky and Biden to launch the attack”.

Who knows what to believe?

I didn't say its Trump's fault, but if he gets in power, it's goodbye Ukraine. I'd be very worried if I lived in the Baltic States.
Most of those Baltic states are in NATO so why would you worry? They are protested by the Nato alliance.
As for Trump he’s gone on record as saying he will stop the war is that a bad thing? So what’s this goodbye Ukraine please explain in more detail.
One Russian boot on the ground or missile in the airspace of any NATO country and it’s goodbye Putin and goodbye Russia and Putin knows it so any invasion by the red army is just not going to happen.

It would appear we haven’t really developed much beyond Neanderthal’s.

ISIS bodycam footage of the atrocities in Moscow.
Russian footage released of torturing some suspected terrorists.

Disgraceful all round.
Yep fighting forever and still at it.

2,000 years ago maybe we didn’t know better.

So you think a war with Russia as part of NATO is something that won't affect us?

It's not only goodbye Russia, its goodbye all of us.

It's how he will stop the war. Basically give Ukraine to Russia.

It won’t effect us because it will never happen is what I’m saying.
And as for giving Ukraine to Russia if will never happen in a million years and yes even under a Trump government.

He 'solved' the Afghanistan situation by immediately running out, causing a whole heap of problems were still dealing with.

He'll do the same with Ukraine.

Every serious commentator on the situation says the same.

Ukraine will be part of NATO in the very near future it’s not Trumps or anyone else’s for that matter to give away.

NATO follows America's lead, and Trump has blocked help for Ukraine for months already.

We're heading for very dangerous times if he gets in. That's all there is to it.

It was Biden who oversaw the disgraceful & chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan. It was under Obama when Russia took over Crimea and it was under Biden when Russia invaded Ukraine. You may also remember ISIS running wild all over the Middle East & Europe during Obama and being thoroughly defeated under Trump.

I wouldn't normally bite but the shameful delusions you stated above help to enable the scale of death and destruction we have seen in past couple of years.

Beat me too it.

Let’s just blame Trump for everything. 🤷‍♂️

Bigging this up into a fight is stupid. We already have one insecure tyrant in charge. We don't want any more.

Not quite sure what you are implying here?

Hungary are already a member of NATO and Crimea aren’t a country.
Fucks sake.

Crimea is a subdivision of Ukraine but occupied by Russia since 2014, which would mean part of NATO under Russian annexation.

Hungary are a NATO member who absolutely will vote no to Ukraine joining, it blocks all interaction due to concerns over human rights, for Ukraine to join it needs a yes from all members.

All a bit moot anyway, Ukraine would have to win, how likely do you think that is, especially if cunty bollocks gets elected in November?

I don't know if I've missed something but the tracking down and arresting of these four men seems to have been done very quickly and easily.
I've read that they were picked up 100s of kms away from Moscow and it would appear that none of them put up any armed resistance.
Now if I had committed that crime in Russia and I thought the authorities were coming for me I'd be armed to the teeth and they wouldn't be taking me alive, death would be a blessing.
I'm thinking have these four blokes actually committed this atrocity?
Like I say I might have missed something but it just doesn't seem right to me.

Same here. It simply doesn’t add up that all 4 fled together, travelled 250 miles and were caught so easily without fighting or taking hostages or committing suicide.

I thought that as well, it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re just patsies.

Poor bastards if that's the case.
Worrying thing is if you read the daily mail online and have a look in the comments section (I need to stop doing it but it gives you an insight to the reactions, I'm not going to call them thoughts, of a large section of the UK population) the people on there are revelling in their pain and wanting us to treat people in the same way. It seems like some people aren't that interested in justice they just need their bloodlust to be satisfied!

According to one of the initial news bulletins I watched it said an army barracks are located just a few minutes away from the media centre yet it took over 45 minutes for anyone to arrive.
Where were the Police? The Security? How could they do what they did for almost 45 minutes and simply drive away without anyone chasing them?
Just doesn’t add up at all. 🤷‍♂️

After Tump romps home in the elections he’ll tell his mate uncle Vlad to give up either Crimea or the Dombass but they’ll keep one of them and withdraw from the other then everyone goes home happy and the war stops and Russia will be excepted again as a friendly nation in the international community as they’ve given back what they took over the last 2 years.

Simple I know but that’s my prediction.

'Uncle Vlad' ! FFS he is a mass murderer and criminal.

An alternative scenario is that Trump is elected, Putin, very happy with Trump's lukewarm support for NATO, tries to broker an agreement to stop the fighting in Ukraine in exchange for territory (as you envisage). Putin then sets his sites on gaining territory in one of the Baltic states who would, like Ukraine, find it difficult to defend themselves alone. This puts other NATO members into a difficult position and ends up with the eventual breakup of the organisation completely changing world dynamic and placing more power in the hands of China, India and Russia. A 'new' NATO emerges without the US and Hungary but is significantly weaker etc., etc. The world is plunged into chaos and a conflict breaks out in the Balkans etc. etc. It's all pure speculation.

The short answer is that anything could happen. However, If you think that appeasing Putin by ceding territory in a sovereign country to him is the correct course of action, I would say that you are completely wrong. All that will do is embolden him.

Peace in our time!

Typical Trump really, big talk, no bollocks.

Fuck that though obviously and it still doesn't lead to Ukraine getting anywhere near NATO.

Appeasement didn’t work with Hitler. Like you I doubt it’d work with Putin.

Trump negotiated the withdrawal deal in Doha and it was implemented by his administration. By the time the Biden administration took over there were only 2500 US troops remaining in Afghanistan.

You’re correct that the final evacuation was a clusterfeck, and Biden has certainly been criticised for that, but arguably he had very few options left to him given the situation he inherited from the previous administration.
