Most disappointing player you saw in the prem season

Unquestionably Reid and Beattie, absolutely dreadful January signings by Koko, at least Kingson had the odd decent game (I think?) before his clangers in several games (esp Blackburn).

As for other teams, I was both pleased (by our results) and disappointed by Liverpool that season. Glen Johnson was easily undone by Charlie's passes and Martin Skrtel by GTF's silky skills, and also Lucas Leiva. They're the 3 that sprung to mind when I saw the o/p.

Kingson was an odd goalie. He was prone to some big gaffs - which cost us dear - but he did make some wonderful saves to help get the six points at Sunderland and Stoke. I'm even prepared to done my tin hat and say, if he'd played against Spurs at White Hart Lane, we'd have won. Matt Gilks came back too early and wasn't able to deal with the shot that got them a point.

"Ryan, let me move the ball forward 10 yards so you get a better angle. Did you love the way I laughed by pretending I didn't see the blatent penalty when Rafael ploughed through Varney. Can I have your shirt after the game..."

OK, if we're including refs, Phil Dowd (v Citeh)

Never realised he was the ref that day, its still the most blatant pen I've ever seen not to be given he literally poleaxed our player when through on goal. When you listen to Walton now on bt sport it does not suprise me he was the ref that day he comes out with some ridiculous comments every week on BT.

Remember Adebayor playing for City against us and being absolutely anonymous

Even today, this is my yard stick for poor performance.

Didn't show for the ball, Didn't make runs and his touch was awful. He was genuinely disinterested. Man City were tepid first half bit completely different team after they subbed him

At last! Someone who isn't posting what they think they should!!!

Kingson made saves Gilkes would never had, especially near post. The goal against Bolton was down to a bunch of fairies in midfield who wouldn't take the man out and stomach a yellow.

Felt a poor year for the prem, Liverpool were the worst they’ve been, United had to get Scholes out of retirement in Jan, City only just getting started really
